Love that! Concept, artwork, music.. everything about it was just good!
Well done, great game, executed well!
Awesome game!
Really satisfying to pick up the coins.!
Great job!!!
Very awesome idea, I love the "staging" ;) Fits perfect to the theme, I really like the audience which even move with you xD good job!
Love this one! You created a whole mood and story. I really like the character descriptions on your main page.

Oh wow this is stiff competition. Incredible that you managed all this in 2 weeks! Bravo!
Wow what a good gameplay. You really messed with my head XD Very fun to play!
Also I like how you used the theme, literally.
very good artwork and love the Shakespeare theme and characters. Very well done.
A very nice take on the work of Shakespeare! I really like the mood and the art, good job!
Great idea to make Shakespeare jump around on a theatrical stage. I really like the game mechanics also. I got quite engaged trying to reach as far as I could. Overall, a great game experience.
Great game! Audio and character animation sets the mood just right. I also like that you implemented a simple tutorial at the start of every level. Great submission!
Very impressive! I can't see any point to improve, the game is already amazing!
Thx!!!
Great game! The moving stage and the intro part is very cool! For me a hint was missing about the movement keys - I learned it quickly the hard way :D
The character sounds were to quiet compared to the music, but maybe that is just me. Some polishing for the audio levels could be something to look at.
Overall it is awesome! Extra thumbs up for the moving crowd \o/
I can't do much about the voices: these are from me and my wife speaking English, being us Spanish... So we have our microphone limitations are our English limitations
Also some people already told me that I need you let them to query the volume... I play with my speakers and the people who use headsets have problems with the volume
Don't get me wrong, I really like that you went the extra mile to record and include voice overs. :) If you would include volume sliders for the different channels that could help mitigate the different speaker/headset "issue" indeed - but I also know that would need extra time to implement, etc. I was debating that myself and it didn't fit for my timeline also.
By the way.
How bad is my english? I need to know XD
I think your English is fairly good :) I have to say I'm also not a native speaker, but I work using English every workday. If I switch off the music I can understand you clearly. You have a bit of an accent but who doesn't, right? :)
The music felt really out of place for me...but I really liked the visuals and the presentation. The gameplay felt a bit stiff and I didn't realize that I was controlling the player character until I died a couple times. Overall an interesting idea! :)
Oh, the music is from one If my teachers in game development, so it is perfect😅😂😂
Also he let me to use it for free, and I think it is quite good.
Regarding death with no notice that you're playing... It could be worse: in the first betas you had to begin to move before the curtains went up😂😂😂
If you ever need any music for your future projects feel free to contact me via discord (Paul E. Messier#1557) or email PaulElliottMessier@gmail.com. I'd be happy to make something for you.
Great concept, nice and different. And great use of the theme as well.
I found the jump controls a little tricky to get the hang of, and i didn't do to well even on the easier levels :D. But i still had fun.
Well done!
Good work!! It is fun to play and I couldn't find any bug! I expect you will expand it after the jam.
TIL Mario's last name is actually Shakespeare!
This is a cool concept and pretty well executed. It feels like the same idea as "which word is the color blue" and having the word red be in blue font. That sort of thing. Your brain sees a bomb but you need to translate that to the current situation. Well done, this was pretty enjoyable.
On normal, I got to 211 coins in just under 3 minutes. On hard, I died at 68 coins. RIP. On Very Hard, I had a weird bug(?) when Juliet showed up where I lost control of the character. Oh well. :(
Juliet is confused, so she changes left and right. 😃😃
Ahhh, I see. Well I didn't pick up on that lol. Thanks for clarifying. Does she only pop up on Very Hard?
No, she pops on hard and very hard.
There are 3 characters
-Jaime. He makes the chairs move to the left so the spectactors have to search for another place to sit (it is only a silly distraction so it is in normal to above)
- Julieta. She changes left and right, she is in hard and very hard
-Prince of Morocco. He changes what is gold and what is not. It is only in very hard.
I added an explanation of this all in the page thanks to your comments, to avoid confusion from the people. The ones who tested it where talking with me so maybe their tests were a little flawed. You had helped me a lot, with your comments.
I really like it. The youtube to show how to play was very helpful. Love the visuals.
I think maybe add a volume control to the music rather than just on and off.
I think that I will do it in some next games. You're not the first one who tells me this. I'm used to control the volume directly from the speakes, so it feels weird to me, but "me" is not the world
Yes I did think to do that also, but can be a problem with a headset. A good game though.
Could use a "These are the controls" page since I had no clue who I was or what to do for the first few deaths. I like the concept of the stage though and the shiney parts to collect. There was some platform I got stuck on and was dragged to the back of the stage a few times near the start. Could be an interesting game after cleaning up some of those bugs. Great work for 2 weeks!
Tobe pushed back to the stage is one of the possibles causes of death. I make all the scenario thinking on giving you problems in cases of mistakes. The controls page... You're in true, I need to add it
