Good game, wish there were more ways the player could use their abilities to approach the problem instead of each ability just being used for a single problem(like fireball to kill enemies, double jump to higher and dash to break walls). And the bloom effects is a bit too intense for my liking. Hope my feed backs didn't came too harsh as it is not my intention. But overall, fun and cute game with good gameplay.

Very fantastic art and I do like the music tho its a bit loud.
I had fun! the gameplay is rather simple but fun enough.
I found respawning just felt lika a slow ability swap, but was still interesting enough!
I think it took me a while to figure it out tho. Maybe I missed some instruction in the first room?

The art is really beautiful and the sounds are lovely. It's so bright and inviting, but I just couldn't figure out the controls to continue. First I tried shooting for a while before realizing that I have to respawn and have the fireball ability. Then I managed to take down one slime, but I couldn't figure out how to put the bomb into the canon or light it or whatever it was I needed to do to break the wall down to the second slime. I tried shooting fireballs at the wall, shooting fireballs at the bomb, dashing through the wall, pushing the canon and bomb together hoping they combine xD but I couldn't get anything to happen. Let me know if I missed something so I can come back and try again.
Dashing through the wall works. Unfortunately, it doesn't work if you're already touching the wall when you dash, so that's probably what happened.

I really love the king sprite and the little slimes, they were so cute :D I thought the new ability mechanics were cool, plus the fact it didn't respawn you back to the very start was a bonus!

I like the game and the movement mechanics. The graphics and the sound give it also a great feel.
I did not like the special moves and the way to switch them. The idea is good, but they could have had more mechanics to them. At the moment you really only want Double Jump and only need to chain die when a monster gets too annoying to fireball .. or when I move through a wall, I need to dash. There is no real meaning to death, apart from it being the method to switch your skill. If instead of health you would also have a "Soul Health" that does not refresh but takes a hit with each death, and secondary means of the skills. like dashing also kills a monster, but it costs your health. The fireball burns the wall, but it takes longer. Double jump, similar to dash, kills the monster if you come down from high enough. There is more thinking about what to select and when to die.

Love the aesthetics! Controls are mostly good, but wall breaking is a little clunky. Switching abilities is a little annoying, but I really like the concept. Really nice game! :)

Ok, I had to read some comments to figure out what to do in the beginning. Once I understood that I had to die at first, then I really liked the idea. Really cool use of the game jam's theme and I loved the aesthetics and music/sfx. Good job :)

at first, I didn't understand y none of the abilities would work. but then found out u have to die by pressing a button to use a new ability. this definitely needs in-game tutorial.
would be better if it was harder to die because it's like we are switching abilities with a button

Maybe im a bit slow from all the Jamming, but i cant use the "fireball" skill?
Use 'E' button when u get fireball ability.I think you need to read the instructions before play
Nice game, the controls/effects of each ability could be clearer. Maybe adding a call to action on the first usage would help.

Loved the game. The art style and the music fits perfectly. Game mechanics are pretty interesting too. The game is really fun but my only critique is that its not challenging enough. I think there should be a way to loose. Also it was hard to figure out that dash can break the walls :)
Yeah we focus in player ability things first . So it cause we don't have enough time to make the game lose system when the player killed by the enemy . Btw thanks to play this game !!
