cool gameplay. nice atmosphere. i just think to tank was a little slow. thanks for submission.
There is something very interesting about this game, I'm not sure if I want you to change the controls or not. The pacing feels a little slow but overall well done.
Great project, I did enjoy the challenge with the auto shoot. The controls felt natural for the type of character. My only feedback was I was uncertain how the turret was controlled, is it by the mouse? I felt like I could control it but sometimes I wasn't able to. It did end up usually pointing in the direction I needed it to go though. Great job!
I Rejigged the aim a little in a *hot fix* so when enemy is near it auto aims a little and is fixed when they are close in (so you can strafe).
Outside of that it rotates slowly to your direction. The mouse had no part in it lol
thanks for playing
That makes much more since, lol. It did the trick, great job!
Good job Rico! I was so happy to see that you also participated in this :D. Good job on the game. I wish there was controls for the turret as well of the tank or even a bit faster time for the repairing, Nice work. The game ran smooth!
Good game, shooting maybe could have had a button to use with a cool down timer. Music was good.
I think next time I will try a cool down timer ⏱. I think the auto fire decision was mainly chosen to add a little more challenge but can see it was frustrating with the odd aiming or a rotating top. Thanks for the feedback 😀
Shooting is tricky and couple that with it being a bit too slow for me...it just kinda felt like i didnt have much controle on where and when i shoot.
Cool idea. Liked the little repair robot, they cute.
Good job! the Aesthetics is coherent and music works fine with it; speaking about the mechanics it's tricky to get used to the aiming system.
Thanks for checking it out 😀 It’s funny my music is getting ok feedback. I brought rytmik a while back although it has a good easy to use interface I am a very weak musician. I do always give it a bit of a try so I am so pleased to hear I may be on the right track.
Congrats on completing the jam! I would have strongly preferred WASD controls instead of arrow keys, and more control over aiming would be nice. Loved the trippy backgrounds, between those and the music I got a strong NES vibe.
thanks, WASD is definitely something I can and will implement sorry I didn’t do that at the start.
Not bad at all! I loved the aiming controls, but only when I understood how they worked, a small heads-up at the start could go a long way. But the movement controls are just weird. Are they emulating how treads work in real life?
Enemies don't really have a challenging movement pattern so the whole challenge fades once you get a grip on controls.
But it does have a good look and decent music. Best part though, is probably the repair robot. Love how it just rolls into view and does its job!
Nice unique looking theme if the game play was a bit faster it would be more fun.
I must know.. What is the goal? To get a high score by killing flies or to get the boss hp to 0? It it is the latter, how do I go about doing this?
I got to 29 and it was not easy at all! The aiming is really tricky, would've loved to be able to control aim with the mouse. But surely that'd make it an entirely different game/experience.
Thank you for taking me back to the starcraft 1 feel and congratulations on your submission! :D
thanks for the feedback, I was going for endless minions and regenerating boss (who spawns minions) - so the need to kill boss is the primary goal. I made it so without dying / upgrading killing boss is near impossible (at 1-2 deaths).
I would have like to add more variation of enemies and perhaps some lead up to the boss. The stink aim was a little intentional but I would have liked to include some more forgiving and fun upgrades like beam and mines.
It felt nice, but the aiming control was rough. Really good graphics and VFX though! Congrats!
THANKS 😀
good job! I think the only thing that bother me is the speed. making everything a little bit faster might be fun :)
Thanks for the feedback speed is a good idea in most of my games I note speed can be an issue - I should definitely dabble with this. Only my most recent previous game SL1D3R had a speed that I think was on point.
Would any specific speeds spring to mind for you, I am thinking too rotation speed could help?
A great idea, a bit more of control over aiming would pump up the fun level I think!

Meachanics and music are nice but i dont like shooting sound
Hello! Nice game!
As mentioned in other comments, I would like to have better control of the aim or speed up the "auto turn" a bit. The upgrade on death was unexpected, I even reloaded the game the first time I "died" xD Especially because you said in the description "if you can hold out long enough you can be upgraded", I was waiting for upgrades over time, not over death.
It was fun and hard! And I'm bad at it! lol
Thanks for taking the time to share so much of your experience.
In hindsight I would have liked to forecast or explain some of the mechanics better. Others have mentioned survival being rewarded rather than death so I am thinking an upgrade bar based on time alive and kills would do this.
I may have to revisit this game and make some of these changes as there are a lot of good ideas coming out of this 😀
Nice idea. I love the robot doctor who comes to repair and improve the weapon.
But after some upgrades, you can just stay in front of the boss and wait to kill him. Maybe enemies should be spawned from elsewhere than just in front of of you.I did mean to add some horizontal enemies to force you to move more, as I go closer to the crunch I wanted to make sure I gave players a win condition. I really wanted to give him a beam weapon too but chickened out of trying - next time :).
Thanks for the feedback!
Would have loved to add more interesting baddies with different movement and abilities (like spitters that come from the sides)
I intentionally allowed you to get upgraded enough to camp the boss as I thought if I made it more unwinnable it may give people a more negative experience.
Great game, more control over the aim would have been nice.
Hey, I Realy like the style and art of the game. Targeting was pretty hard. but once you get it it was much fun.
