Very nice game, I really liked it. I think it would be cool if the ship moves a little faster. Also loved the music and sound design, they create a nice atmosphere.

I liked this one, I thought the mechanics were clean and the sound, music, and visuals really set the atmosphere and gave a unique feel to the game. Nice job on the submission!

Nice idea. Feels like you are really alone.

Great job finishing your game. I liked the art style. The game was fun to play and it had good difficulty. It was touch and go for me in the last 30 secs, but I was able to beat the game with barely any fuel.

Nice work!
Here are some of the things I liked about the game:

  • The vibe created by the simple art style, paired with the chill music
  • The log entry at the start played into the story and immersion
  • The thruster animation was neat
  • I know others asked for a fuel indicated but I liked the subtlety of it being baked into the ship itself

Some things that I think could be improved:

  • The volume of wrench pickups paired with how forgiving the shield is made the game quite easy
  • There isn't much threat for staying at the back so you have maximum time to react to incoming fuel. This also reduces the challenge a bit

Thank you for your review :)

Developer

yes, its just about fuel, i think everything else is not important... its not tuned well rn.. thx for reply

The shield meant I wasn't too worried about damage, but I nearly ran out of fuel! Managed to survive though :)

Nice job, I liked the art and music!

Developer

thanks for playing

Have to love the captain's log. I didn't manage to get a fuel canister in 3 tries, turning is too difficult I think

Developer

sorry, its hard to set difficulty right after 5h of gameplay :D

Grats on completing the game! It would be nice to have a fuel indicator in the UI.

Developer

a lot of people think the same way... thanks for feedback

Not sure why the use of thrust was required in space, unless there was a black hole at the bottom of the screen. Agree with other comments that ship controls felt slow. Almost impossible at times to get to fuel unless you stay in the center of the screen, but maybe that was the idea. Made it through the 3 minutes fairly easily though. Shield felt redundant with the amount of wrenches available.

Developer

mr. scientist :D but yes, ship is a bit slow... we tried few values, speed, meteorite speed etc and this was best, what we can get and its not ideal, we know. thanks for rating/

Nice done! controlling the ship felt a bit slow, but i love the idea of keeping yourself moving by collecting fuel

Developer

yes, with high speed there was issue with control and ship went crazy :D its not ideal. Thanks for rate.
