I appreciate everyone's participation and feedback on the game. I believe that if I had worked on my birthday, it would have given me an extra day to handle things or prepare earlier, allowing more time for improvements. I have mentioned this to a few people already. Once the rating process is complete, I will address these issues and release an update. I am excited about the project and would like to continue working on it, rebuilding it from the ground up. This time, I plan to prioritize the building system and then integrate everything else with it.

Neat game, I liked mechanics of building during the day and defending during the night, and that I got an active part in the defence.
I still had no real idea what buildings did before and after placing them down, but that's been mentioned a few times now.
Nice aesthetic and music.
Nice job :D
Nice game! Seems you have achieved all the goals you set for the game. Good switch between base building and combat. Wanted to do something similar for our game. Like other comments mentioned some UI would have gone a long way. Good Submission to Jam.
I like the premise of the story! Feels like an interesting culture and folklore to delve into. The catchy music matched the theme.
Unfortunately, i did not manage to figure out how to play the game. From the GUI, I surmised that it is likely a citybuilder/ tower defence. But I had hoped that there were mouse-over tooltips, or just a label of what each building did, or what resource was consumed when building it!
Seems like this would be a good base to build off for a more fleshed out game!
Great idea, build/fight combo. But same as your other reviews, had no idea what I was supposed to do. I panic bought random buildings and placed them randomly, as I watched the clock (with the clock hand speed also confusing me, lol) and I lasted like 5 seconds on the night. Add the info as suggested, the tutorial, and make the first night a little easier. :)
Finally getting around to playing your game! I love the idea of building by day and combat by night, I think that's a really exciting premise. Also thought your story was novel and interesting. I don't think I'm telling you anything you don't know, but once I started playing I was completely lost. In addition to the known bugs you mention on the game page (no cost indicated for buildings, no health for buildings or enemies), I had no idea what each building type was for or why I should build it. Also was unclear how to collect more money to keep building. It feels like a solid start to a game that will be really cool in the future.
Very cool. Definitely needs some explanation or information on the screen for the player.... unless of course "figuring it out" is part of the challenge.
There is one thing that bothered me..... the clock hands are wrong, the hour hand moves faster than the minutes hand. No, this does not effect anything except bothering me, but I really can't unsee it.
Really nice cool day/night mechanics.
Would have liked more in-game explanations about the buildings effects.
Anyway, nice game! I enjoyed playing it
really loved the gameplay and how you matched your game with jam theme. would like to see more work on this in the future. hope you continue working on this. I would love to give it another try.
I really liked the mechanics...hope you will continue developing this title, or something similar.
that was great, congratulations on finishing the game and working out the WebGL issue.
Really cool management/defense game. It's pretty ambitious so congrats on finishing it in 10 days! I had a fun time with it, I really like the visual and audio design. I wish the structures had tooltips explaining their purpose, or maybe a tutorial. Most things were pretty intuitive but it wasn't clear what things cost. I'd love to see it expanded upon! Congrats to all of you!
I think this type of game might be hard to make, and even harder to make it fun to play. I like your take on it and I think it's pretty good.
This game is so underrated. The gameplay cycle is VERY solid. Hope more people will find it. The mechanics themselves, honestly, are not obvius, so tutorial somewhere in the menu wouldn't hurt.
Hi there and thank you for playing our game. I have to agree wholeheartedly, that a tutorial is needed. I was the only programmer in the team and took on more than I could handle. I love what we've created and intend to work on this more, adding the required tutorial and fixing all the known bugs before adding more content. We had walls planned too but I couldn't get them in the game in time.
Nice little game but I can imagine the implementation might have been hard since there are a lot of mechanics included.
I wanted to point out a few things but you have all of them already mentioned in your Known Issues section :-) If you fix the first three issues, I think this would be a cool little game.
