It is my favorite so far. Everything blends perfectly to create the ambience. Excellent job1!

One thing that i specially like a lot about the game's atmosphere/setting is how the objects light blend/affect eachother. Very nice atmosphere, solid game and replayable if you want to get all the possible endings, well done! :D

Wow this was an absolute treat to experience and one of my favorite submissions so far! I use the word experience rather than play because the attention to all the details to create an experience were present in this project and it felt more than play.

The music was relaxing and enhanced the atmosphere created by the visuals. The different branching dialogue paths were well written and engaging where I wanted to try each one. The camera transitions between the bad spirits stages were a nice touch. I can't fathom how you created all this in the time restrictions of the jam and would be very interested to see what additional stories you might tell if you continue to develop this style.

Fantastic work!

This game is beautiful and the memories were really well done! It is very reminiscent for me of the kind of beauty and contemplative mood in games like Thomas Was Alone, I enjoyed it a lot. I was a bit worried about the game over screen since it made it seem like I’d have to restart, so I was glad it was only from the last memory. Definitely impressive how polished this is for the time allotted, well done!

(Also, fellow Godot developer?)

Fellow Godot developer! I have always been interested in Godot, but this was my first actual week getting something completed in it. Really loved it!

This was my first game in Godot as well, I had done some tutorials but it’s very different making something from scratch. I also was a big fan having come from Unity, so I’ll definitely be sticking with it going forward!

I liked the overall atmosphere and the very simple style in the flashbacks! Story was great for a jam game as well :)

A very moody game, loved the atmosphere! Very nice pixel art style. I liked that you added a little movement on the story scenes. Interesting choices related to memories and social behavior.  Great game!

I liked the combination of mechanics, the dialogue choices and the interesting story, nice job on it!

This was just a home run for me. All the elements and ingredients ended up being the perfect combination and I really got invested in the story with the multiple endings.
Excellent work!

cool concept,  highly addictive like there's nothing bad that is to be improved it's perfect!

You did an amazing job with the game and its atmosphere. I love the idea of this being a person's last stand before judgement. One bug I did encounter is that if you press the spot where retry is after it fades away, it resets to your last check point. Not game breaking, but something I wanted to let you know of.

Developer

Thanks for letting me know! I never would have thought of that, bugs are so funny!

I love the aesthetics of the game, looks great.

Thank you so much! It was my first time doing pixel art :)

This is my favorite game yet! Well done on the story aspect and overall creation of this game. I would love to see more!

Very well executed game, I love the way you tell a story, the ambiance is great. I just got confused because I understood the first time that you can go to the next dialogue by pressing space. Then at the end of the game I finally understood that I could make choices along the way with my mouse.
