How does your game fit the theme?
We created a tower defense game where you don't have control of your own towers. Meaning they'll attack everything in sight... even YOU! Turning a classic game genre into a bullet hell.

I love tower defense game and the mix of genres and this is, in my opinion, an extremely well done mix of Tower Defense and Bullet Hell that just makes sense and works very well.

The pixel art is perfect and so is the audio, it is very polished and with a lot of different towers to experiment with different situations. I would still have liked the ability to place towers down directly with the cursor, but it is a very enjoyable experience and one of my favorites in this Jam. Amazing Work!

Really clever game :)! Loved the how placing towers was both helpful and dangerous. Really nice art too (especially love the cute trees).

Our artist is awesome! He made a palette from the start. Thank you for the review and kind words, I love all of your channels!

Very awesome idea and very well executed. Simple but clever. you had to think high risk high rewards, because the enemy drop disappears after a few seconds, so either you play it safe and you get only the last drops, or you enter a bullet hell to get as much as possible, hopefully using the enemies as shields from your own turrets.

Well done all.

Really unfortunate that the lock-on turret is best turret. UNFORTUNATE FOR ALL THE OTHER LAME-ASS TURRETS OUT THERE.

The team talks about this post a fair amount, thank you.

Damn, that's cool! Making your own tower be able to attack you... Maybe it's simple, but it turns the gameplay upside down, very clever idea. Two things, that gets me to rate it's "fun" 5 out of 5: first you able to stop your enemies by blocking them - it's hilarious, but it works! And the second, is it just me or you really added sample from "wait a minute who are you" meme video to main music theme?

Really amazing graphics and sound design. I also love the idea that your towers damage you, great work!

Very cool concept for a tower defense! Good job!

This was a nice combination of genres. Things definitely do get quite out of control as well XD. I wish there were more health pickups though. It's just that the nature of the game entails that you will get shot maybe 4 or 5 times before you finally reach a heart. So more heart pickups would be nice. Still, this is a very good game. Great job to everyone on your team :)

I'm terrible at this game, but I can see how polished it is!
Good job ^^

Oh man I love a good tower defense, very polished, and more VERY fun, loved it!

Presentation in this game is really great! There's a lot of little nuances here that I appreciate such as the robots dropping loot which encourages you to not turtle and put yourself out there as well as the loot being slightly picked up on a range to allow for some leeway with positioning since it can get quite hectic when you put out too many turrets.

The various mechanics have a lot of satisfaction built in. Overall, this game's idea is quite original and stunning!

This game is amazing! It's very creative and that shines even brighter for a tower defense game which are usually pretty copy and paste. It's very satisfying to collect a giant amount of bolts while risking getting shot by your own towers just to do so. My only real complaint is that it was a bit annoying trying to figure out where you can and can't place things. Maybe a grid system would be nice. The music was also a little annoying. But otherwise, this was a fantastic to play! Give mine a try too :)

I really love the magnet feel on getting small pieces of loot! Your game looks and play awesome! Congrats on that. Looking forward to play more games from the team!

This was great to play, well done. Really enjoyed it, it's a bit strange that the pause menu doesn't have the settings option so that people can turning music down etc part way through. I love how the design of the collecting the screws forces the player out into the open. Really well done and the game also looks and sounds amazing

Alright this is one of my favorite games from this jam that I've played so far, such a good twist on tower defense to mash it up with a bullet hell, adds a whole new layer to tower placement strategy. Plus the visuals and presentation are great, fantastic work!

Really fun concept! Quad shot is kind of broken because of how little it costs and how fast it shoots. Blockade is the opposite, way too weak. With a bit of work on the balancing I could see myself playing this a lot. Good job!

The art was really well done and I love the fact that the towers can damage you!
