How does your game fit the theme?
Everytime someone shoots, people get teleported arround, and that includes you! (which can get out of control really fast). Also you are taking care of a fight between friends that got "out of control".

Did your team create the art for this game during the 48 hour time slot?

Yes

We created all art during the game jam

Did your team create the audio for this game during the 48 hour time slot?

No

Nice game! I included it in my GMTK Game Jam compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)

Amazing job! very impressive!

It was hard to understand in the beginning. But after some tries I got the game. I had fun time with it. Nice concept. Never seen it before.

That's a very creative take on the jam theme. Very solid entry, congratulations!

The feel of this one is fantastic. You feel awesome nailing the critical shots and saving everyone from themselves.

Really cool concept! Arts super cute as well! top notch! :D

The GUI is essentially perfect as far as I could tell.  A little bit of folly would have made the UI even better altogether (for example, during the level reset screen wipe).

Great concept, though the tracks don't look great and feel arbitrary (even though, on repeated tries, it's clear that there's a logic to them).  I got stuck at the shot around the t-4 seconds on stage 3, though that might just be because I didn't understand the mechanics very well.

This is definetely one the hidden gems in this jam! The concept is completly original, the art is awesome, i couldnt stop playing it until i beat it. Anyways amazing game, great job boys, hope you do an after jam version!

I love the concepts behind this! The idea of shooting bullets to protect friendlies is such a good idea it almost makes me sad that the teleportation is a thing, since (at least for the first few levels) it meant that the best strategy was to fire immediately after teleportation to take care of the bullet right away. The game looks nice and plays well, though!

Developer(+1)

Yeah, we started with the teleportation idea so it was kinda hard let go of it, haha. Thank you for the feedback and kind words!

Very nice mechanic! and lovely graphics. The teleporting felt a bit jarring at first, but you get a bit used to it after few rounds. Nice game!

This game had an inventive idea and a great execution! It's a game about keeping everyone "alive" (instead of using bullets to kill it's used to cancel out other enemy bullets) and it adheres really well to the theme! Well done :)

This is really good! I love the character designs. It all feels so out of control, yet it's still very fun to play.

Great idea! The gameplay is super fun and challenging

Submitted(+1)

I like the concept. Cute visuals :)

There was a point where an enemy fired and one of them teleported and immediately walked into the bullet.

The optimal strategy seemed to be to just wait until someone fired, and if the person who fired gets swapped with you, you can easily destroy the bullet.

Awesome! This is great, you did a great job keeping the scope small enough to be workable but with enough "meat" to make a game.

The only thing that lead to "feel bad" moments was teleporting and walking into the bullet they had just shot. I asmit, I don't see an easy solution for that. Maybe make the bullets spawn a little bit further away from the enemy as they shoot? Their bullets are so slow it restricts your movement in a not-so-fun way. But that's just fine tuning, the core idea and game are so great!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! But yeah, the only thing to do if you teleport too close to a bullet going your way is to shoot in the direction of that bullet as soon as the game resumes (aka spam left click), because the bullets will cancel each other (which is not the most intuitive strategy really). And the bullet speed is a real dilemma, too fast and they become hard to avoid (and harder to take down), too slow and they become easier to take down but stay on the screen for longer.

Again, thanks for the feedback, I really apreciate it.

No, I meant the bullet the character has just shot, not one coming your way. Because you teleport when someone shoots, sometimes you are teleported to the same spot of the character that has just fired, and you can walk into the bullet.

Developer

Oh true, at that point only really paying attention would save you.

Thank you all for the comments! My internet went down on the last hour of the jam, and it really is a miracle the game is up. I will get back to play your games once my internet is back!

Developer

My internet is fixed! time to play some games
