I hope I never have to work in this nursery. This definitely fits out of control though, and the auio was amusing! In general, the whole game just gives that chaotic/anxious feeling with the art style audio and gameplay making the whole game feel solid

Great as always!

Looks and moves really nice. Very nice take on the theme.

At the end of my first I didn't felt in control at all, this was war. I don't want to get back to work. Ever.

Well done !

very nice game! i really enjoy the animations and the general motion of the game. i found it a bit hard to sometimes understand what the children wanted to do and how to prevent it, which was a little frustrating (eg. it wasnt very clear to me what the blue-purple icon was supposed to mean).  still a very funny experience and if definetely felt really like everything is getting out of control :D very nice!

I find it hilarious how it basically escalates to full-on war at the end of the game. After trying frantically to keep things calm, the kids still managed to throw over 700 punches at each other like the little devils they are. One thing that totally should've been a feature would've been allowing the player to straight up just yeet the kids out the front gate.

This is a fun, frantic game! It definitely feels out of control. Nice work!

Can agree! reminds me of several other games, i cant put my finger on it!

I feel like it was more fun to watch them go crazy than try to interact with them.

Submitted

haha yes! if only there was some creative mode for the game :D

All the game is missing is the ability to straight up yeet kids out the front gate, and you have the perfect entertainment system xD

Cool concept! I would have liked less post processing effect, or at least an option to disable.

lagged for me like crazy. But hey, unity users am i right? XD

Normally I have thing to say but that was overall a 5 star experience. Good Job team! There could be UI Improvement to know which kid is in trouble, but I think this is part of the experience. Made me think of a single player version of  Overcook, so yeah. Nice little treat.

As expected from Noa + team, solid all around.  Presentation (both music and visuals) were in a league of their own

I really liked the aesthetics!! The gameplay also feels fluid, even tho I got to a point it was impossible to manage those kiddos

What I didn't like:

  • Nitpicks: The Unity game screen doesn't fit the browser window properly, and there are a lot of audio panning bugs. Also, the chromatic aberration was more distracting than anything.
  • There's no indicator of which off-screen kids are fighting or crying, and where they are, besides the audio cues. Setting aside the accessibility issue, it's just not very fun IMO to be clueless as to where the bad stuff is happening, but I understand why you'd design it that way.
  • Ultimately, despite all the production value, it's just not super fun to run around and press the spacebar on kids. Given more time, it'd have been interesting to add some extra layer of depth to kid-management, like maybe balancing your measly publicly-funded budget to choose between hiring an assistant, adding fire safety barriers, etc.

What I liked:

  • Extremely well-done Edmund McMillen-inspired visuals and audio. The music is a legitimate banger. The game has a very strong Binding of Isaac vibe and I'm sure that's intentional.
  • The premise just works well. The little monsters really do get out of control faster than a pangolin plague.
  • The toilets don't even have freakin' dividers.

Overall, this one is well worth a try. Great work!

  • Big crowds Managing: ✅
  • Spreading Fire: ✅
  • Taking care of npc, whitout controlling them: ✅
  • Hard to play controls (sadly, it hasn't inverted controls, so this is all i can push it): ✅
  • No plan of what's happening on the screen whatsoever: ✅

This game takes all the main ideas of this jams and combines all in a single game... Good job, as always!!! 👍

Very nice
