Although I got stuck on the first puzzle. Surprisingly polished for a gam-jam game. Amazing job! But I think you really should have added music, also, what's up with the weird screen shake!
I really likede the story and how you used the theme for the story rather then the literal controls.
The game looks really pretty and sounds really good too. I do think He was a bit too accepting at the end there, but overall love the whole game, great job on that and the story you made for it <3
One thing I do have to note was, that in one of the two puzzles at the end, i thought i couldnt finish it, because your not supposed to be able to cross the blue I assume, but I could walk over it? I think that should probably be the green ground/grass, not blue. I legit thought I had no way of completing the puzzle at first because of it.
*Main other thing I would add to this game i think would be some credits at the end maybe or any kind of ending screen and change the colour of Lux. in the outside part, the character is quite hard to see, becuase of the white colour
I'm glad you liked the game! i'm sure that the puzzles are finishable, if you walked on the blue, probably that was a bug, i'll try to fix that. Thanks for the feedback!
I love the look of this game and the story too! They are both simple but have a very good impact. The sounds were also very fitting. Thanks for making this!
Thank you! I'm glad you liked it!
I was stunned when I realised it was 3D. Amazing work. I like how the camera works for the most part, but one suggestion would be to raise the view a little. It felt restrictive that I couldn't see further ahead. keep it up!
Thank you very much for the feedback! I'm glad you liked it!
Wow! Super impressive, a beautiful and well designed game all the way through. It's incredibly polished and well made!
Thank you very much!
Probably my new favorite! I loved the puzzles and the way you could change perspective with the camera. Art style was cool. Story was a little, uh... dark I guess haha. But I liked it.
Thank you very much! I'm so glad you liked it!
Reminds me of the game Nuum. Very cool!
Yes, that game is amazing
Good Game and a cool concept with great graphics sound and fun gameplay. I was getting an Ico from the ps2 library vibe it was impressive.
Thank you!
Cool idea to use the theme to drive the narrative rather than gameplay (even so, you could argue that you were never even in control of your character either). The GMS 3D graphics are one of the coolest visual things I've seen this jam. Is there a write-up somewhere on how to achieve that? I'd love to see how that's implemented!
Since gms doesn't support actual 3d, i used some techniques like sprite stacking to achieve the depth of the objects, you can easily look it online. I'm glad you liked it!
For a game made in 48 hours, it is very polished. I love the camera work, and the fact that you actually added narrative into a game made so quickly is pretty impressive. Great job!
Thank you so much! i'm glad you liked it!
Love it! 5/5
Thank you so much!
i'm glad you liked it!
what a sad game! but well made!
This game is packed with features for so little available time, 3D with gamemaker is IMPRESSIVE feat itself :D .. Nice work!
Thank you very much! I'm glad you appreciate the effort!
This is a great little experience, I love it so much! And you've given me some neat new techniques to look into, I'm going to have to try out "Sprite Stacking" now! I see you've mixed a couple methods of achieving a 3d look, how did you do the grass and ground planes, if you don't mind my asking?
Oh, and this is a five star submission. Good luck, keep having fun with your skills!
I'm glad you liked it! basically there are 2 kind of objects: the 2d ones (the player, the grass, the trees) that are displayed normally, and the "3d ones" even if they are not actually 3d (obelisks, levers, walls) that are displayed using sprite stacking. the camera doesn't actually move: the whole room rotates around the centre of the camera while the 3d objects adjust their positions. if you want to know more, there are a lot of videos online about this!
Nice game! The story was fun and everything felt pretty solid. Cool character designs too!
Great game!
This game is awesome!!
Great job for doing a narrative game during a jam !
The ending to this game made me tear up. The art was gorgeous and the bit of puzzle-esque gameplay was nicely done. The one thing that could be greatly improved would be the sound design, but otherwise very nice job!
Very beautiful!!
