I really enjoyed the game play, finding out what each machine did made every step of the level rewarding. The sound effects and the art was great too. The only critique I could give would be I found splitting the level into multiple areas makes problem solving a bit difficult. Over all, its a great game.
Yep, I didn't think beforehand about how the point at which the camera panned would work for individual levels. I'm coming up with a new system right now that lets me specify the splitting point that I'll be using in a postmortem update.
i like the art and gameplay , very well design, but where the sound effect dude, and also a little post processing will make this so much more interesting too the eyes, but well done though is a cool submission.
There are sound effects but I don't know why you aren't hearing them...was the tab muted, perhaps, or the volume down? Anywho, appreciate the suggestions and the compliment.
Pretty fun concept, kind of a game for the big brainz out there
Very nice overall
Appreciate it! Your game was tons of pure fun.
Very creative idea for a puzzle game, I would tweak the visuals a bit because the pixel art is pretty good, I understand hiding elements to interact with in the dark is part of the puzzle, but I think it can be done while making it more enjoyable to look at.
When I was recreating Yeofoxeon's level designs in Unity, I tried to make sure everything important was lit up so elements wouldn't be hidden--if they were difficult to see at times, that was my fault. I had the spotlights so they could only be at 45 degree angles and tried to limit them, even if they were the only good source of light. If we do update the game, the lights will probably be adjusted. Thanks for your feedback!
I have no idea how I solved the last one but somehow I did. It's nice to see him smile after frowning for so long in the dark. Wish my vacuum had one of those infinitely elongating wires!
The wire graphics don't fit in exactly with the otherwise consistent pixel style, but they flow so nicely, I'll allow it.
Thanks for the comment, glad you enjoyed the art graphics c:
Hey, I wanted you to know that I actually took on pixelated wires yesterday thanks to your suggestion! You'll see them in a post-jam update along with other visual and gameplay improvements.
Sounds great, I'll keep an eye open for it!
Yo, I know it's been more than a year, but we added the wires. I actually had the pixelated wires in the game since I replied to your post, but I didn't want to upload it until the wire logic was fixed. So recently, I got down to it, and there's a fresh release out now!
Wow, the pixelart is stunning. I also liked your sound effects and the general gameplay. Really solid game!!
Appreciate the comment! I'm glad you enjoyed our game!
Love it, the puzzles were tricky, but intuitive. Well done!
Thanks! Glad to know the puzzles worked well with the game c:
Like the the art style and the later puzzles can be surprisingly tricky especially lvl5! Overall very well done.
Hehe, yea. The later levels did have a steep difficulty curve, but I guess that's what helps make them puzzles! Thank you kindly for playing c:
Not the most original puzzler, but a very fun and pretty good looking implementation. I love it. Very in theme.
Thank you kindly for the comment! I know the concept might not be completely original, but I'm glad we could make it enjoyable for you.
Great interpretation of the theme and great concept!
I love the art
Thanks for the compliment! Glad to know people enjoyed the art!
I will admit it took me awhile to catch on but once I did I really liked it
Got the same reaction from a couple of people I knew playing it :]
very cool graphics! when I got to the top it was hard to see what I needed to see
Yep; the way I coded the camera panning meant I couldn't change where it panned for each level. Unfortunately I didn't think about how it would pan on the tall level and didn't adjust the design :/
But thanks for the compliment and for playing!
I liked the visuals and concept. There is a drastic difficulty pick at level 5 :) For other players: if something is buggy - just restart the page. It will keep stored saves
Appreciate the comment! I know there's a bit of a steep increase in the final levels :]
Fun game. Love the atmosphere and lighting!
Many thanks!
It's like if Mario was an electrician XD
I found the gamefeel pretty fun, i would have added a next button, but for such a short developement time it already has lots of content.
Thanks for the comment n' compliments! Being in a two-person team definitely doubles the productivity. I thought about a next button but in the moment I couldn't think of a quick way to do it. I know now, but too late :P
For anyone encountering issues, please take a look at the page description. I'm finding some new issues and fixes I hadn't found before.
Nice idea! Last two levels were a bit tricky, definitely an interesting difficulty curve. Some of the logic of the wires doesn't seem to make sense. but it could just be beyond me! Nice design and feel. Would love a "Next Level" button at the end of the level. Good one!
Glad you enjoyed it! The weird logic might just be the bugs :P still gotta get that sorted out. I'll let Max know you liked his levels!
This game FEELS good. There are some small UX problems but honestly they are easy to overlook with the gameplay being as fun and fluid as it is. Way to make the movement feel great!
Thanks a ton! I fiddled around the first day with how the movement and interaction should work, and I'm relieved people are finding the game fun!
Nice idea with electrical wire
Appreciate it!
Nice idea with elictrical wire
