A really enjoyable game. Amazing idea and well executed. I had a really great time with this. the only thing is, that i would've like to play in fullscreen since its wery small.

But other than that. WOW

Developer

Wow thanks so much! Really appreciate it :) Will look into adding fullscreen in the future!!

Absolutely nailed it, this is what a winner looks like. I do have a minor nit pick tho. First there is a distinct lack of feedback for finishing a level, I think its caused by the delay between hitting the door and ending the level but there was a distinct sense of anticlimax most of the time.

but seriously fantastic in every way

Wow thanks so much! :) Much appreciated! And definitely agree with the door thing, it's something we wanted to juice up more but ran out of time. Will def update in the future though!

This was a really awesome game! Great mechanics, nice ramping difficulty, very good!

Only note is that the enemies don't really seem to pose much threat; they pretty much walk into spikes immediately and don't force any real decision making.

Developer

Thanks for playing! :) The enemies were one of those mechanics that we wish we could've fleshed out more with more time. Hoping to use them in more ways in future levels!

Wow this is great, love this mechanic! Big shoutout to how well structured the levels are to act as a built-in tutorial.

Developer

Wow thanks so much! Really appreciate the kind words :)

Woah, amazing mechanics! They fit really well for a super interesting puzzle game, reminds me a lot of a Rubik's Cube!

Also, lemme just say that the art is just superb - It already got me interested from the thumbnail and the page's background alone with its colors that fit together really well, and then the player character's is just hella cute!

Goes into my top20 list, for sure!

Developer

Thanks so much for playing and all the kind words! You're awesome :)

Definitely a puzzle game (I don't know about the platformer part; especially as there is no challenge behind it). The game is really fun though, it has clear rules to it and it looks (and sounds) amazing! Great job :D

Thanks so much! Glad you had fun :)

Great presentation. It's kind of like a 2d Rubik's Cube

This reminds me of an old flash game called Continuity but in that game the map was a sliding block puzzle and the map segments had to strictly line up terrain-wise. This game gives a lot more freedom in that the pieces don't have to strictly line up which is nice. I really liked how mechanics were slowly introduced and also alluded to. The enemy walking around the wrap around was especially noteworthy (he even conveniently dies on a spike afterwards). Overall the game had a nice polished feel with a good fleshed out mechanic.

I did run into a bug on level 14 where I jumped down the piece leading downward and went through the roof of the piece below—effectively putting me back at start.

Developer

Thank you so much! Really glad to hear the flow of the game feels good. And thanks for finding a bug! We'll try to fix it post-jam :)
