Thanks everyone for the feedback I used RPG Maker MZ for it because it allowed a few things that RPG Maker MV doesn't without hunting down plugins to do specific things I am planning on rebuilding it from the ground up in RPG Maker MV (of course the whole main aspect of the story is staying) I will post the date in this comment section and on my twitter a few days before I start my rebuilding the game live streams on twitch though it may not be until July family stuff and other personal things to take care of. I linked my twitter and twitch in case anyone wants to follow me on either My twitter◄just click it will open in a new tab ► My Twitch

Cool game and funny dialogues, I agree was a bit short but for a game jam its understandable.
Good job,
please take some time to rate my game if you have the chance.
The idea of maiking "linking" a skill for an RPG is amazing and I loved the dialouges. Although the game was short, I really enjoyed playing it and definetly hope that you will turn it into a bigger one.
A fantastic little game!
Short game, sure - but I was blown away at how fleshed out the world and narrative still felt. Great work!
While the gameplay was lacking (sorry about the time), the story was very intriguing, and I wanted more after reaching the end. I'm impressed how much you got done in such a short amount of time.
Towards the end, I wasn't quite sure which world was the original one, so maybe a way to indicate that (GUI element or having the worlds have distinct visuals?).
I don't know the limits of RPG Maker or your game making skills, but it'd be cool to see the linked world mechanic extend into the battles as well, like how Cris Tales does it.
Overall, not bad.
This is a solid concept! Obviously with your limited time it couldn't really be fleshed out all that much, but it has potential. My main gripe is that switching between worlds was really tedious as you had to go into the menu so much, but other than that, you've got a good start!
I made it to the end, but I got the bad ending RIP (I thought Lord Marix was trying to trick me)
I definitely had a tough time figuring out how to switch worlds but I made it to the end.
(If anyone else is wondering, you need to navigate the menu to skills>magic>link (edit)
It's... a game. Sorry you got distracted 9 hours into the jam. Better luck next time.
I like the idea of making a RPG-game that fits the theme. Cool concept. I would like to see it expanded post-jam.
Quite an ambitious project for the GameJam! It would be interesting to see how the sister world changes the mechanics, rather than just the story. Good effort though!
I will admit because of a tight schedule on my end unrelated to the jam 99% of the art is default with the engine I used. I quickly discovered I had 4 hours to do what everyone else was going to have 48 hours todo. In a updated version that I make after the jam I will make a tutorial as well as extend the story line and more non default characters other than just Purcilla. If you didn't see her she is in the game but completely unnecessary. She makes beating the game about 2 seconds longer.
That is a matter of misunderstanding on my part because of being tired [I had an hour of sleep 48 hours before the jam started and had to constantly come and go while I could have been working]though Did I make the assets that are not default engine assets during the jam? Yes. Did I use mostly the default assets from the engine I used? Yes
Cute little experience! Took me a while to figure a out how to use the link skill, but one I got the hang of it I could quickly play it. Props on making a finished game in spite of the troubles you faced, as you explained at the end of the demo. Good job!
Controls are a bit weird, but it was different from everything I've played so far. Good job ^^
took me a minute to figure out, but I got it eventually from just spamming buttons. It's a nice, short little experience props on making a finished game!
