pretty good take on a classic. i think the colliders were a bit borken (i kept dying when i didn't touch anything) but the game was pretty funny and it was quite fun to chain along people
I re-did the collection system midway through development so some colliders are really lenient while others should probably be tightened up. I glad you still enjoyed it though!
What a masterpiece.
I'm so glad you enjoyed it!
Yeah, it was a really fun experience! I'd love to see what you can do next.
We will be making a mobile version some time after the jam. It'll include all cut content (More hazards, more zones, skills, difficulty, and of course many MANY more puns!)
Hilarious title, and I love how you made it more challenging than snake by having to chase down the other characters.
Thanks for the feed back! Theres a lot of stuff that had to get cut (like certain followers giving you skills), but I think it still came out great!
interesting game and a great take on the theme, reminded me lot of snake :o)
I'm glad you enjoyed it :D
I think it’d be cool if the other citizens’ hitbox was larger.
Great art. Best game title in all the jam.
Because you lose if you run into an NPC after they follow you I wanted to keep them kinda tight so they're easier to avoid while making 2 sharp turns in a row :P
Great art and aesthetic.
The concept is such a unique take on an old mechanic, good job.
BTW, Would love for you to try my game too.
It is an Action Platformer with unique controls.

I'll check it out!
I saw the name and it was an instant click
With a name like that, how can I not play it?
I liked all the NPCs dialogue and the fact that they were much more likely to run into the fire after linking up with me :P
Didn't get very far due to weird and unclear hitboxes.
For snake-like games with grids, I suggest trying to keep the player on that grid a bit better, cheating the movement in their favour.
I wanted to do grids so things would be more clear, but I didn't want to learn something completely new for the jam, so I stuck with what I was comfortable with.
Simple, everything about the game is in the tile already lmao, fun one!
I already seen this same mechanic in a mobile game
Nice game though!
Thanks for the feed back! ^_^
Nice game !
And nice music, what's that effect you used to make it sound like an old game ?
Good question! Sadly I don't know the answer. You'd have to ask our sound guy that one. He's a bit lower in the comments his name is NUNICAN
I love this game way too much, the idea, the theme, the name, the gameplay. Very well done
Thanks for the feed back I'm glad you like it! :D
Nice!
Really fun game, quite hard tho (in my opinion), but still Nice!
I wasn't sure how hard it'd be for the average player. At one point you moved 15% faster, and that felt a little too harsh so I lowered it, but since I was already used to the faster speed by that point I felt like it was on the easier side now. That's my mistake though!
Ok. This is brilliant lmao. I love the title, the art, the gameplay and the music. Just everything made me smile at this little pixel mall arson conga line.
This was my first jam and I really enjoyed being a part of it! I only did the music for it but maybe in the future I'll try my hand at some of the real game dev stuff.
Really fun concept, I like the idea to create a chain of people to get them out of the fire, very clever! The pixel art is great too, good one!
Thank you! The tileset, and characters I used can be bought here on the asset store :P The music, and code were both produced during the jam though
great and funny idea, was a little bit buggy, but was still fun to play
Thanks! The most annoying bug I think that's present is how the player spawns looking towards the right that throws off the movement until you first move. I couldn't find a fix before the dead line though. I may expand on this idea later though :)
great and funny idea, was a little bit buggy, but was still fun to play
My favorite title so far
Thank you!
Fun little game!
Very chaotic with the burning mall, loved the popups from the people!
Thank you it took a while to write that 😂
