How does your game fit the theme?
The circles are joined together to protect the almighty hexagon. (Which is also in the middle of the "joined together line")

Great game! Simple but fun concept, I like it! Movement is surprisingly satisfying, although death tend to be annoying (you move to kill, only to kill yourself by accident). Oh and the subtle variety with the hexagons having to be pushed was neat. Just great all around, fits theme in unique way and the simple art, is very effective. Great execution!

Excellently executed novel idea! The shatter noise is very satisfying, and the enemy spawn rate/locations feels very reasonable. I'm glad that you opted for putting the player's hitbox at the midpoint rather than the endpoints; allowing you to slam enemies is a brilliant way to add variety to the game!

My strategy was essentially to put one of my circles in a corner and focus on the other circle to make very long, sweeping arcs across the map. Dunno if that information is useful to you from a game design perspective, but I had a lot of fun doing it ( :

Very nice answer to the theme with an original game mechanic: great job! ^_^

Thanks!

Fun fact: Originally, the player would die if the CIRCLES touched the enemy, and there would be no hexagon. Later I changed that just to get more of them stars in the originality criteria (because I saw a lot of games that did that in discord). Turns out that made the game extremely fun! (...and me original!)

It's very well polished

@Mrinin very good concept, very good use of post-processing too, sfxs were also good, great entry mate :D

Thank you!

This is a very kinetic action-based game! I like the combo systems and general feel of it!

I would add some music in a future release, and I would also change the color of each element of the player.

Overall, FUN!

Collision and boost kills are so satisfying! Nice game

Developer

Thank you!

Simple but very fun game with original mechanics! I think you should explicitly mention in the tutorial that you can move both circles, I only learned that later in the game.

Developer(+1)

Thanks!

I thought that was obvious since the game tells you you can move the closest circle

Submitted(+1)

It does, but for some reason I thought that the closest circle is the one that’s connected to my cursor at the moment. I didn’t think that if I moved the cursor to the left another circle would connect. And since then I never released the mouse button again. -_-

My experience tells me that it’s a good idea to be always explicit in tutorials, because there always will be stupid players like me. :-P

This is a really simple, fun and addictive game! Could definitely imagine myself playing it as a mobile game. The only real feedback I have is maybe change the colour of the centre hexagon just to differentiate it from the two circles, I kept thinking that if the red triangles touched any of the shapes then it would be game over. Really nice submission! Had fun playing it

Developer

thanks!

Control take a bit to get used to. but when it click it really feel good.

slam the enemy to the wall, sweep the enemy with the line.

"One more round, next time I'm gonna get more high score"
I get to 3.7M and think it was good. now that I see the 27M in the screenshot I need to go for another round.

Developer(+1)

haha that 27 million score was a really really really lucky run! My second best is 4M. I got it by never losing combo, getting like a 120x combo and getting a ton of collision and boost kills with boosts. The spawn rates get insane after around 60 kills and by 80 it's pretty much impossible. No idea how I did that lol.

The controls were a little cumbersome, but the concept is great, and it feels really good once you get into the zone.

Best score is 547500. Loved this one, I think a dual joystick control scheme would be interesting for it

Submitted

The controls are pretty smooth and nice feeling, and I like how you use the tether as a weapon but also have to be careful about the hexagon in the middle. The sounds are also super satisfying! Good job!

Submitted

Cool concept and very clean execution, my only remark is that the normal speed feels a bit slow and the boos it a bit too fast but otherwise a fun game!

great take on the theme?

I loved this game, super addictive, and the mechanic is so creative, I was amazed when I played the tutorial. So good as an arcade game! Really liked this, a great take on the theme and great execution, even the game feel is on point (it can always be better of course). Congrats!!

I love the controls! Pretty intuitive even for my first try. I'd say keep the proximity ball selection thing going, it's easier without having to think about tab switching.

Very fun casual game. Good work!

Super fun!! It's interesting to control, in a very good way :). I like that there are multiple ways of destroying the enemies, the combo also keeps it fast-paced. A great trick to make the hits feel even more impactful would be to give them a direction. But very nicely done :)!

Amazing idea and great execution! My only suggestion would be to be able to switch which ball you're controlling, as mouse being to the closest ball is sometimes hard to tell and also this way it would allow for more control. But even without that, it's amazing, keep up the good work!
