How does your game fit the theme?
A straight-up Bullet-Hell madness with a little twist to the formula. You control two characters stringed by a very thin and fragile link, very simple... one moves and can't shoot the other shoots but can move. DON't GET TO FAR OR IT WILL BREAK! IF EITHER ONE DIES ITS GAME OVER! Give a try and show yourself what you're made of, it's no walk in the park INSTRUCTIONS: WASD to Move - LEFT CLICK to shot - MOUSE to aim - SPACE to Join/Split after a STREAK of 20 - SPACE to restart after dying

This is a very polished game that feels like it could have belonged somewhat in the game "Unexplored". The shooting is overt the top and satisfying. Needs a little bit more polish for a definitive game though.
I do wish there was a bit more to the conjoined pair though. Or second stage. The second stage has no limits, functions as an extra life, has better and more refined mobility, and is far far stronger. I do wish there was a timelimit on it though. Or something else to balance it out. Like going back to the first stage is less punishing.
One of the things that might be interesting is that the second stage functions as a combo multiplier of sorts. 30 seconds of boss and ass kicking firepower with enhanced multiplier to give the game short bursts of extra OOOMPFHHHH. Or maybe add this as a third stage.
Thank you so much for the feedback in your comment and while on stream, we really appreciate it! Thanks again ((:
Great game! really fun, challenging and addictive.
Oh btw, try to beat my highest score:
HOLY DUCKS!... no way...
Thanks a lot!!! I'm glad you liked it!
Well this is definitely a high score game. I got very much sucked in trying to beat my high score and manage to survive as the combo'd hat guy for long enough to get a crazy combo. Though when I discovered auto fire, I sorta went on a murder spree...
The game has a ton of little juice added everywhere tho I've gotta say, ignoring the repetitive sounds (I'm surprised you didn't just randomize the pitch?) it has a lot of really nice screenshake and explosions etc..
Though I would say the explosions on the charging enemies were a lot bigger than the actual AoE radius, which looks cool but kinda threw me off when I was trying to avoid them a lot. There were so many situations where I coulda sworn I got hit by one.
Thank you very much for the constructive feedback, it helps more than you think. We really appreciate you taking the time to write this comment, honestly, can’t thank you enough!
I went ahead and saw the vod stream! I'm so glad you enjoyed it so much! This really made my day men! THANKS A LOT!
No problem this was legitimately one of my favorites from the jam, and definitely my favorite out of all the shooter style games. I may or may not still be playing more of it lol
this game got me trying like 2344 times, really fun to play and makes you really want to break your own record lol.
I'm really glad! awesome! thank for the comment!
Definitely the best entry I've tried, I can't believe you pulled it off in 48hrs! Graphics are great and overall very original. My only suggestion is to maybe increase the amount of bullets you can take. Instead of dying at the first bullet, maybe having 2 or 3 chances? Since the game is fast paced I feel it would keep people playing much longer. Anyways, great work, keep it up!
thanks a lot! Try to get a x20 streak and press space (: you’ll see
I think your idea is simple and fun, but the really impressive part is how much polish you were able to pull off in 48 hours, it looks and feels like a finished product. Great work!
That's really great to hear, thank you so much!
Man, this game is a wild ride, that opening text/tutorial is fantastic, I mean very weird, but, fantastic, and that's probably a good description of the game in general, it's bizarre and wacky, but, it is quite a lot of fun and the presentation is just excellent, really impressive for 48hrs. I don't have any feedback that other people haven't already touched on in one way or another so, yea, great entry, and fantastic work!
DAMN! That means a lot to me, my partner didn't really like the idea of so many screens I agree to a certain degree but I really liked it too hahaha! I'm glad you did too. Thank you so much for your feedback, we really appreciate it!
Damnnn. So good, I was super afraid. The tension was real. What an amazing experience that was. I had REAL fun with it. One thing that I think would make this a little better, the camera 30% out. I feel it's a bit too zoomed-in. Amazing Entry!!
Thank you so much man! We're really glad you liked it! feedback noted.
This game is great! The only problem is that there's barely any enemies, which actually makes the game harder. Many times, I would run around the map looking for enemies, and when they actually appeared, they would catch me by surprise and I would quickly die. If there were more enemies, the game would have been much better as the player is constantly focused, and can learn the enemy attacks. Also, I would have liked if there was a button to slow down the player's movement, as the movement speed is way too high for a bullet hell game.
Thank you for your feedback and then time you took to write this comment! We really listen and will build up on what we have keeping all these in mind. Can’t thank you enough ((:
This is the most janky, fast pased, fun game I have ever played. Wow, just amazing. Only drawback was that the camera screen could have been bigger. Other than that, holy cow. Also nice storyline
Thank you very much!!! haha, we are glad you liked it! Also, thanks a lot for the feedback ((:
Great game! satisfying and very cool. its a tiny bit annoying when the string break, but I still really like the game.
Awesome, I'm really glad you liked it, thank you for the comment (:
Haven’t been able to play it yet, but first impressions from the video is that I’ll have a ton of fun playing this. Might yell a lot which is fine haha
Love the birds eye view of the game, love the splash the enemies make when they die, love how the two dudes work with together to kill everything. A lot a lot of explosions, your eyes won’t be bored. I can’t believe all this was made in such a small amount of time, kudos to the team! I’ll make sure to play it ASAP!
Thank you so so much for taking the time to leave such a robust comment! It means everything to us! Can’t wait for you to play it and let us know what you think, really hope you enjoy it (:
Making a good, polished, bullet hell game which also looked really good with clean UI and VFX in only 48 hours is hella impressive.
The mechanic itself is fun and fitting for a chaotic bullet hell game, and you picked a fitting SFX for everything.
I'm gonna be honest - I skipped the text tutorial since I'm lazy, but the game itself is intuitive and I didn't feel behind.
Well done!~
Thank you so muchh, this means a lot to us! we really appriciate it! haha don't worry, if it can be skipped its because its not that important anyways
Really fun!!!! I'm looking forward for it to evolve with more weapons and modes <3
Thaanks! Coming soon!
I really like the fun you put into this game. Mechanics are very original. congrats for this incredible idea
Thank you thank you!
Very polished looking game, really nicely done! Feels great to control, plays nicely into the theme and has a great and fitting theme tune. The special effects also looked really nice along with the sound effects. Just very impressive overall!
One thing to improve maybe could be to not allow the player to just hold down fire (as I did) and turn circles constantly to keep killing enemies off-screen. And maybe add some weapon pickups to incentivize you to move around more.
FAIR! Thank you so much for your feedback, we definitely thought about this and didn't discard it but we completely agree with you. Glad you enjoyed it, it means so much to us! thanks again!
Best game i seen so far in the jam.Introduction was fun, gamplay, sound, visuals all seem well polished for a game that was made in 2 days. Only thing i noticed is is that the 20x multiplayer bonus is OP,without any drawbacks or real incentive to switch back, so after activating it you basicly just throw away the most intresting mechanic of the game.
Fair!, thank you so much for taking the time to say this. We really appreciate it! Can't thank you enough
Best looking game I've seen so far. Good effects, satisfying sounds, and good feel in general. Great work!
Awesome! thank you for taking the time to play it, means a lot to me ((:
Crazy amount of polish for a game jam. Really good idea. Only complaints are I don't like the text-based introduction at the beginning - it's too much up front to ask of the player.
Fair enough, I agree with you, thanks for the feedback ((:
The story is cool, i liked it! The text tutorial I could have done without, as I prefer a tutorial that you can play. Overall, great game, super fun!!
Completely agree, thanks for the feedback (:
