Original concept and cute presentation :)
I definitely felt pretty powerless (soo many broken bones) - but it was funny enough that just flailing around was fun :)
That's a cool concept, I even learned how many bones I had in my body ! But now I have none ;(
Funnily, we had the exact inverse idea, where you are the dog that makes his owner fly, and you must try to not hurt him too much. It's fun to see that both work really well :!
xD
5 stars on originality! Just something as small as a bone cracking sound adds so much. Great job!
Hilarious and really original game, I love the idea.
Such an awesome game! I really love the sound design and the art, as well as the take on the theme! Fantastic approach and great job!
This was a really sweet little game. I loved the art, and the sound design was perfect. The only criticism I'd have is that as a player I felt very powerless, maybe make the boost have more of an impact. Other than that, everything from the UI to the dog barks was perfectly adorable. Amazing work for your first jam!
This is a great take on the idea of two characters joined together, had a blast playing it!
Interesting use of the theme! Nice job, I like it
Nice concept.
I played it, had no idea what the white line did ... thought it might be some laser-sword and then some stick to keep pushing yourself between the trees and benches.
And then I read here (in the comments) that it was the direction you would boost towards ... and suddenly it made sense.
If you'd replace it with an arrow or anything, that would be a lot more clear what it did. Now it looked like something the guy was holding in his hands.
But overall nice concept, love the art-direction and the SFX really gave a sense of presence.
Lovely submission
This game is so fun and it has an incredible sense of humor, where u can break all 206 bones in the human boy! Kudos to the developer! I think it would have been a great candidate for last year's theme as well "out of control". The music fist perfectly and the graphics are more than cute. My only critique would be the white line that I think shows the direction in which you can boost. For me this line was confusing at the beginning. I though it was some stick that you would swing at things or something of the sorts. It would make maybe more sense if a smaller arrow be used instead . Anyway this is just a minor detail. This game is awesome
Great point with the white line (and the suggestion for an arrow as a replacement), I can totally see this possible confusion :D
It is a very fun game, the art is very beautiful and the sound design is amazing, each time I hit something, it was clearly distinguished from what I hit thanks to the audio, my record was 71 seconds xd Really cool game :D
Very cool game! I'd definitely be interested in playing a later version of this with tightened controls-- It already feels good to play, though, especially for 48 hours!
Really liked the art and the gameplay, wished there were more levels or that the current one was bigger, but otherwise it's great.
Audio and art match perfectly !
GG for your first jam !
very cool wish there were more levels and maybe some sort of task in each level
Absolutely precious. I love the visceral sound effects are your cute little buddy wraps you round a tree or lamppost.
Nice game! Very simple mechanics and a lot of fun!
Dog ran around a tree. RIP me.
I think the controls could've been more satisfying (better feedback? - not sure how to explain it). Overall, well done!
Personal best: 74s
Yeah I understand what you mean. Sadly I didn't have enough time to finish (and fintune) the controller control option, which could have been better.
Wooow, really cool idea! It also looks very good, good job man! I broke all my bones a few times, it's a bit tough, I wasn't really sure what i was doing (this game would also fit the previous "out of control" theme), but i had fun anyway :) i hope you keep doing jams in the future
