This is so awesome in many ways: mechanics introduction, puzzle-solving, music and also visual. Respect!

this is so wonderful and polished!

This is beyond incredible! The art is so cute and squishy, and being a fan of factory games, this is awesomee. It definitely goes super great with the theme and I'm blown away with something this good being made in 48 hours. I actually want to get back to playing right now. Amazing work, congrats!!! :D

Absolutely amazing, visuals and music work really well together and this has the best tutorial I've seen this jam. I wish you could re-move buildings/connections or delete them and some of the letters are a bit fiddly but I hope you continue work to make this a full game

You guys did a spectacular job for 48 hours. the game feels very polished and satisfying. The idea is also very good and great fit for a small game. As some other people have mentioned, the design of each letter sometimes can be confusing but its inevitable when you gotta design all letters of the alphabet hehe

Amazing!

I caught some of the development of this game on stream. Was super impressed when I played it, the presentation and interpretation of the theme was incredibly well done and the tutorial is probably one of the best I've seen in a jam game. Fantastic job!

This game is made in two days...

Just wow...

Interesting little game. I liked the idea of building letters like you do, but I wish there was more "factoryness" to it. Or less. It just kinda felt like the factoryness was tacked on rather than being essential to the gameplay, It was just building these letters with the tools available, but also having to lay out all of these wires.

Amazing game with a very unique premise and fun gameplay. It's breathtaking  what your team was able to do in just one weekend. The word sharing feature is just icing on the cake.

I hate to beat a dead horse, but my biggest critique is how cerTain leTTers can be a bit Tedious to creaTe. I spent a fair bit of time trying to find out how to create T. When I finally managed to get it, I had kinda lost my mojo for the day. In hindsight, the answer is obvious and I don't know how it took me so long, but it's deceptively difficult from a beginner's perspective.  I understand why you wanted to keep most letters solutions up to the players to find as that's where the fun is, but a bit more handholding might've helped. I want to try and create more letters though so I'll definitely play some more tomorrow.

From your responses to comments though, it seems like if/when your team updates this game, a lot of these issues will be fixed. I haven't played a single game this jam that hasn't had some sort of noticeable flaw so I really hope you guys aren't hitting yourselves too hard over a simple oversight

Your team has done an extraordinary job and I can tell you all gave it your all and then some. I can't wait to see what you might add to it in the future.

I will be mad if this game does not get top 20

An absolutely crazy system with an awesome amount of possibilities, I managed to break it by trying to make a compact assembly line while writing cat, but overall it was reallfun.  Even if I was pretty stuck on trying to make a T of all things for the longest time.

The setup and all is really cool, one big thing though is it seemed to be sort of random as to what letters became a question mark?  For example the L that I turned into the left side of a T couldn't be turned anyway to become the right side of a T by reflecting it beforehand and then rotating.  Which felt kinda weird?  Since it works the one way and not the other.

Overall though, a really cool system idea and a lot of levels I didn't manage to complete but will definitely be coming back to.

mindblowing!

the idea is very very good and the execution is perfect!

but it requires a lil testing to form advanced letters, which takes a bit long

Fun!

Very creative concept, and one that really blew my mind at how novel it was. Like many other commenters, the "T" had me stuck for a while, but the satisfaction from finally making the right combination was enormous. The presentation is a 10/10 with the relaxing music, intuitive interface, and well-written tutorial. Not to mention that players can submit new words, which is a great feature! Definitely blown away with how your team produced this lovely game in 48 hours. Great work!

EDIT: After completing the game and even making my own word (check out "AWESOME" with a score of 13985!), I love this game. There's the idea of simply finding the solution, but then there's also the component of optimizing for a high score. Suffice to say, that second component totally won me over after my initial impressions of the game (though I have to admit, I cheated by looking at the JSON file to figure out how to make 'S')

I couldn’t figure out how to make T. :(

I loved the visuals and the music, the vibe was incredibly soothing, but unfortunately I did have the same issue as a bunch of the other commenters. As soon as it got to letters like T or X, I couldn't wrap my head around it. Complex letters just weren't really taught to me and while I tried a bunch of ideas to figure it out, it only gave me errors until I just stopped playing out of frustration. I do like the game, and I wish I connected with it better, but unfortunately I wasn't to.

Thank you for playing the game! Sorry it didn't connect well. It's tough to break down the complex letters and we could certainly look into adding a bit more tutorial levels in the future. We really want the game to be about experimenting and discovering recipes on your own, but we also want it to be fun and approachable! If you ever return to the game, try breaking apart letters like T and X into two pieces and see if you can find some letters that would make those shapes. For instance, cutting the X in half, or finding an L in the letter T.

Love this game. Toughest thing was figuring out how to make a "T". Once I got that, I was more or less good to go. Overall really awesome idea, cleanly implimented, and fun.
