Good game! I liked the movement very much, although I wish that the ball could also destroy, when being connected to the player. The graphics were very nice and I had much fun playing the game.

Really cool mechanic idea! Sometimes I wished that if I swung it in a circle around me it did some damage too hehe.  Still, it was really fun to kick it around and go back and get it! Plz check out mine when u have time :D

Very nice use of the theme - I wish there was a score bonus for hitting multiple enemies in one throw of the ball (that would be very rewarding) but it's fun to play, good job!

I saw some trickshots on your showcase gifs and those were so hard to pull off. Aiming was super hard. Art was super crisp! Solid work for a jam, contrats!

Nice little game ! The graphics are pretty good and the gameplay is efficient !

The ball is quite hard to aim with because of the chain, but that's what the theme is about, so I don't really see how to do differently, I just have to git gud I guess =p. I would have loved to be able to swing (without throwing it) the ball in the enemies to kill them ! You give me a giant flail, but I cannot iuse it like this ? Too bad xD !

Overall, that was a nice game, solid work for a 48h jam =) !

I enjoyed the game and I liked the graphics! I just think I would be nice if it were easier to aim the ball at enemies.

Lots of fun. Physics felt solid and after a couple of minutes I was able to keep the field empty with a few lucky swings. If anything, I'd make the ball completely impervious to any impact from enemy fire, since that threw me off a lot, or I'd make the dash cost considerably less energy, since I almost never got a good moment to use it. Still, the concept and design are great and I hope you keep working and adding to it. Awesome job!

it takes a bit of time to have the controls well in hand and then I would have loved it to become more agressive and having my ball smash trough loads of enemies at once! Well done!

It is simple but it works, I had a lot of fun hurling that spike thing at enemies :)

Great work! although i feel like the player should be able to evade a bit more (bigger room maybe?) dashing works great to avoid projectiles and the ball bounces nicely. Maybe having it joined could power up the ball as well? so it could do penetrating shots, or become bigger, i don't know, just  a tip. I had fun!

Hey I liked it! I especially liked that the chain segments showed your remaining energy. I think that also makes the chain meter at the top left a bit superfluous.

The game sadly ran really slow and laggy for me in browser- would it be possible to play a downloadable version instead?

 It's against the rules of this game jam to upload or share new versions until the end of the rating period, so unfortunately I can't upload a desktop version.

Also the cable segments show the  health of the cable (it breaks if it reaches 0 hp), so that you cannot use it to block bullets forever.
