I did not expect it to be this difficult or maybe I'm just bad at it ;P Very fun tho
Amazing mechanic. It is fun to play ı wish there was a level system instead of score system or more arenas with the score system
Something about the controls keeps tripping me up... I can't tell exactly what it is, I think if I'm strafing and shoot, then the angle it fires at is wrong? It's also confusing when the balls behind you, I think it'd be best if the ball was strongly biased to stay in your view and avoid going behind and around you. I felt like I wanted to be moving and shooting at the same time, but these things made that very ineffective. Something about the timing... idk I just kept missing it even though I swear the indicator was green. Maybe I'm too slow.
Anyways, awesome game piggy, it seems like it'd be a lot of fun, but something or another stopped me from getting into a flow. I enjoyed the first bit though, and appreciate how you give us a few waves to get familiar with controls before introducing projectile enemies (teeth?).
The game is very entertaining I still can't improve my reflexes haha, the aesthetics of the game and its graphics are amazing, I had a lot of fun playing and something like that in VR would be amazing. great game :D
Really fun mechanic. Definitely a unique weapon haha.
Really awesome mechanic!
It was fun to really get into a rhythm with the paddle. I did encounter a bug where the ball got caught in the wall corner and would not retract. I had to restart the game.
Fun game!
Damn, I thought I fixed that lol. Thank you for playing and for telling me about it. I'll try and fix it for a post jam version
Such a great concept, and with even better execution. Great job!
Very satisfying to get the rhythm down with the paddle. Love your graphics style also.
Cool concept and the graphics definitely stood out. Really liked the timing window helper of the paddle, helped me get a feel for things.
Super fun! Great interpretation of the theme and the art is great as always. Fantastic!
Great game! Really cool concept. Bonus points for adding an option to invert y-axis.
Nice concept
Interesting concept with great visuals. A bit tough to play though. And it would be wise to block the player from spamming LMB, like in rhythm games, where a game punishes you if you press a button too early. However, it would require a more accurate calculation of valid timings. I agree with the previous comment, that I felt like I needed to click much earlier.
Thanks for playing :). There is a slight cooldown between LMB to prevent spamming but I kept the cooldown low lol. I'll remember about this for a post jam version
great idea (as always). I really struggled to hit the ball, it felt like I had to click MUCH earlier than my instinct, so I really struggled with it.
Interesting concept! Found it really hard to hit the ball properly, dodging it seemed way too simpler. Anyways, fun game, nice job!
Very original with cool graphics.
Wow this is a great concept. Would love to see a more FPS/Multiplayer version of this. Could get very insane!
Really original! Love the concept of shooting with a paddle ball! Brings me back to the Doom's days
This was a blast, I kinda suck at it tho ;p. This feels like a game with a high level of mastery so well done!
Cool idea for a game. I like how the enemies with ranged attacks force you to move so you can't just stay in one place. It was easy to lose track of the ball but I found that it didn't matter to much because of the indicator on the paddle. It might be too easy to ignore the ball and just focus on lining up your cross hair and clicking when the paddle is green? still a really fun game though.
