This was so cute!! The music and graphics were incredible, kudos for creating both during the jam, and the jump felt so squishy and fun, I didn't want to stop jumping! I had some minor issues with resetting after dying, but overall my experience was smooth and enjoyable and I was so genuinely happy to see those two get back to their ship, it felt so cathartic! The recording was great too, the freedom in length was nice and none of the puzzles were too difficult. Definitely a lot of potential to up the difficulty and continue designing, if that's something you've considered, but I wouldn't want to draw out their little journey back to their ship. Great job!

Love the music, and how polished and visually nice the game is, also platforming controls feel good and fluid. One thing that would be nice would be an automated level transition, so I don't have to click next level or press enter to move on to the next one (though that's a common suggestion, so I'm sure you know).
Wow, this is really good! The core mechanic is great, the characters are adorable, the overall presentation is very polished, and the gameplay feels pretty good too, only things I'd say would be that the in-between level UI obviously needs a bit, and it'd very really nice if the robot wasn't stopped by the alien when jumping to better serve as a sort of double jump / platform. Well done!
I LOVE the way you did the record mechanic! I've seen this idea before, but this is a unique spin on it for sure! I could not finish it because Unity's old input system is broken on my PC for some reason. No idea why. I won't hold that against you at all. The art and overall presentation are really good! Great work!
Just finished playing! I really liked the mechanic and the polish on visuals was good. I would have loved some more work on the UI to avoid having to use the mouse to click next level, and a main menu and controls in the game somewhere would have been great. Really well done, it felt good to beat, I want to know more about the story!
The music and art are great! I got kind of a space cowboy vibe from the music, so in my head they're on another planet. The audio and visual effects during the record sequence are also great, really good job on those! The record mechanic actually reminds me of some games I played during last year's jam, were any of those games inspiration?
Its a very cool mechanic and I would love to see more of it. Few bugs here and there but overall a great experience!
The presentation for this is quite nice. SFX and Visual effects were perfect, and the animations for the little alien are great. Music was slightly overtuned, and the record loop felt a little slow. I think I did find a bug in level 2, after dying & pressing restart, both characters chilled in the air, so I had to start the game again. I think it's very impressive to craft a congruent project with so many people, good work!
Quite polished though a little floaty for the movement controls. The record/move combo is one I have seen yet in the jam and worked quite well. Not sure if it was the intended solution but the only way I found to solve the second to last level was to abuse the robot able to multi jump when on my head. Managed to finish the game and enjoyed my time with it.
Extremely cute! I wish there were a limit on the number of records you could do, but otherwise fun and unique! Plus the art is excellent, as well at the actual visual effects!
This was a fun game! I didn't read the controls on the game page, so I was uncertain of the controls at first since there was no tutorial. I was able to figure out WASD pretty easily. But I didn't know what to do about the robot until I just started spamming random keys until I eventually hit "R" to record. I didn't understand what recording did until I tried it a couple times, then I understood it.
I had a weird glitch with the UI, where I couldn't see any of the buttons at the end of the level. My computer is running Ubuntu, so I thought it was the game freezing and crashing. I restarted the game 3-4 times before I moved my mouse and accidentally saw what looked like the outline of a rectangular button. I couldn't see the button or text on it, but when I hovered over it, it showed a transparent black color. Idk if that's an "only me" type of problem because of my operating system or something native to the game, but that had me confused for a good few minutes.
Once I got going and understood the record mechanic, I had a ton of fun. Idk if this is intentional but I found what feels like an exploit. If you get the bot to land on your head in a corner, you can hold spacebar such that when you stop recording, the bot jumps infinitely. Then, if you walk around and the bot touches the ceiling while still infinite jumping, he can basically walk on air. Not sure if that's an exploit or a really cool intended mechanic, but it was a fun find.
Overall, I really enjoyed the experience and I thought the puzzles were well designed and fun!
Thank you for the feedback. Actually at the last moment we really struggled with the UI system for some weird bugs and that's why our UI system is not up to the mark.
And about, that the robot jumping can jump in the air we decided that to keep that feature to add more interesting and challenging levels. But unfortunately time didn't permit us.
Any how, thank you for taking your time and providing an elaborate feedback.
nice cute game, i think the mecahnic is really the highlight here, most other entries in this jam are the "control two characters gimmick", however this game makes you think in advance, i really enjoyed it, nice job!
The recording mechanic is really cool. The music does not seem to fit at all with the aesthetic -- but I find that kind of endearing. Nice job!
