I really liked the art and the concept was fun ^^ A bit difficult navigating through the big map
Cute game and idea, I especially liked the wonky packages. The controls were a bit too finicky for the small (two tile) platforms and didn't feel that great on ramps. Otherwise everything worked perfeclty fine. A mini map would have helped a lot in navigating the kingdom. Initially I was a bit skeptical about the link to the theme but now I appreciate the meta-implementation of the theme, using the postal service. People seem to underestimate how hard it is to do Pixelart in 48 hours, so I don't think you using tile set use is much of an issue. The only thing that feels off is that your sprites are much sharper than the tile set and could probably use some blurring.
cute game, but the level was a bit too big for my taste :)
love the art and music tho
Yeah concept is realyl fun but controls was so frustrating... i liked it. But i could like it more
Concept was nice and the presentation was really good, especially for a game jam game. The movement did feel too slippery however (it was super easy to slide off platforms I wanted to stand on, for example) but overall I think it's a great game!
Dude the tile set is literally from an asset. Do not claim that you made it. The art style was a bit off since the scale does not match correctly, making it feel like fake pixel art. The physics weren't great either.
We didnt claim that we made the tileset, in the description we stated credit for the tile set, but every other asset was made by our artist hence we decided that "majority" art assets was made by us was fitting. Sorry if that was unclear
hi ! i just wanted to reply to this one real quick. We never claimed that we made it. In our credit part of our itch page, we gave proper credit to the free asset we used made by Ansimuz and we also stated that we used the tileset to create our level layout.
However, everything else, including background (the one with the sky that follows the character), title screen, win/lose screen, animation of the characters/guards, the houses, mailboxes, the tray that the character holds, the arrow signs, and the UI, were all made within the 48 hours.
alright thanks for the clarification
The game is very difficult, as the player is so slippery that movement is hard to do. The knights are too large and avoiding them is so hard. The game, in general, is very difficult, but the presentation and idea is very nice.
I really love the idea, but the platforming was difficult without coyote time and the misleading arrows were kind of frustrating. Presentation was nice
Very pretty looking game. Not sure why there were soldiers attacking me and having the up arrow also work as a jump would be nice. Very fun game clear directions and everything looked very good.
It's fun and cute!
Cute graphics and interesting idea!
really liked the presentation especially the package animation, jumping higher from ramps was fun as well. Doesn't feel super linked to the jam theme but had a lot of polish
i love the graphics! and presentation.
fun
Fun concept, I like that you get better by learning the map so that you know the best route between all the houses.
I'd love to see some sort of mechanics for actually being able to interact how your stack of boxes somehow
a really fun game with cute graphics, i had fun playing this one
Nice idea! The music also sounds good.
just a suggestion for futures games: try keeping your assets the same pixel proportion, it makes it look more “natural”
Neat idea! Cute graphics and clear tutorial.
Really fun game with great intensity.
I love how intense it is to have to deliver these boxes.
I loved the animation on the boxes. The music was a little repetitive, but it was a very very cute game. I liked the concept quite a bit.
