The intro cutscene was a wonderful setup and the game is a very fun and imaginative spin on chess

I like chess and this is a cool spin that actually makes you think and manage risk/reward

Cute take on the classic chess, the cutscene at the start was very well made and i like the graphics all around! good job :)

I liked this a lot. The opening cutscene and blood splatters for dead pieces are particularly nice touches.  The risk-reward of trying to kill as many of your own pieces as you can without losing so many that you can't also take all the black pieces is very fun.

That the black queen will happily kill the white king is kinda funny and can make the endgame a bit tricky, though the AI seems a bit random in how aggressive it is.

A small UI thing, the "possible moves" highlights don't show enemy pieces you can take, I didn't realise the king has the queen's moveset at night initially because of this.

Honestly my favorite game I've played so far. Super original and funny.

Interesting take on chess.  The strategy behind killing my own pieces but still having to kill theirs was fun to balance. 

Very unique spin on classic chess, nice use of the theme. Taking pieces and killing my own guys was very satisfying

Nice idea! Great opening cutscene which explains the changed rules and character motivation of this very familiar basic game.

The art style is great.  And playing against yourself makes it really unique, well done!

I beat it! It's kinda fun having to think twice as much ahead as you do compared to regular chess

I really really love the art style, the vfx when you capture a piece, and the theme interpretation. A really nice twist on chess!

I like how you can just go ahead and take out the enemy king. They seem to do just fine without him!
