Really cute graphics and music! Turning the character with the camera has a really wide angle ("he turns like a semi truck" - Jemmeh in chat) that feels a bit awkward to move with, but other than that the game controls well :)
Great job! I loved the artstyle. Feels like a fully fledged game!
What a beautiful game! It has many amusing elements such as the sparrow being incredibly strong and the "how to cook sparrow stew" book. One bug I encountered was that you can't turn 360 degrees after exiting full-screen mode. Anyway, the music choice is very good, and I like both the art and the story. It was also very nice with voice acting. Good job!
Good music choice; it had me tearing up. The game was cute and challenging, partly because of the controls. Overall, lovely little game :)
The opening cutscene was so cute and I loved the art! The story was done well too!
The movement controls are a bit weird to me, sometimes I would press A or D but the bird will move forward instead, and vice versa.
Very nice game thank you.
Holy guacamole, wonderful art.
Really polished. Others have said that the controls are a bit weird, and I do agree with them, but still this is a very polished game compared to other entries. The storytelling is cute and simple, and doesn't feel lengthy. Overall, this is a short and sweet game!
I love this little game, super cute - I think moving the camera on the Z & Y axis is a bit slow - but that's preference I suppose! Super chill game you bashed out in 48hrs! Good Job <3
Always nice to see a 3d game in short jams. Nice and chill game, I feel like you could have given a little more of a hint for where to find objects I got a little lost and kept going through the same areas looking for items.
Awesome game! Didn't expect the voice acted cutscene, but the effort shows. Cute and chill little game, nice submission!
Super cool - with voice over cutscenes and everything!? Love it, super unique concept too!
A very cozy wholesome little game, the cutscene artwork is super pretty too!, relatively easy to play and a fun little fetch-quest style game :]
I love the approach you took on the theme having a scarecrow and sparrow be friends with each-other.
Other than the unresponsive controls, I loved the environment of this game. Glad you provided the guide, too!
So adorable! The controls were a bit frustrating at times, but this is a very cute game, love the 2d art and the voice acting!
The movement was a bit finicky but this is a gorgeous and insanely charming game, good job!
Loved the expression! Beautiful story art, lovely to include VO, cute birb and low-poly environment!
Thank you so much for playing our game! I'm glad you had fun and thanks for taking the time to tell us what you liked. :D
Very cute & relaxing game, with the most infuriating controls ever. But thumbs up because of gigachad sparrow ππππππ
Thank you for playing and for the feedback, I'm glad you understand the true nature of sparrow. π
Yeah, WebGL does something funny to the controls when we finally built it and we didn't have time to fix it completely π Sorry for the weird controls!
So cute! I loved the illustrations
Thanks for playing! We were very fortunate to have a good artist on board this time :D
The game looked spectacular! The controls were sort of weird at some times, but the gameplay was cool. Thanks for making the game!
Thanks for playing and for the feedback! I'm glad you liked the look of the game :D
And yeah we realized pretty late in development that WebGL does something funny to the controls and didn't have time to completely fix it πSorry about that!
No problem. It is a game jam and your game isn't expected to be perfect. It is a great way to learn for the future. This game is 100 times better than mine so you guys actually did a great job!
