How does your game fit the theme?
Its the classic arcade game Frogger but with reversed roles. Instead of you being the frog trying to cross the street you are a driver trying to avoid the frogs

Good job on the game! Cool concept, well executed. It was fun and light. I like the art very much and that soundtrack is good.
Well executed concept. The frogs seemed to often spawn with the same timing, so it's pretty easy to just stay in one lane and time the jumps rhythmically to rack up a big combo.
the death sounds are the best.
Thank you <3 It consists of a bass drum, me screaming and squishing an old, moldy avocado.
Interesting. I like the post processing effect and atmosphere.
A fellow frogger enjoyer! Cool post processing effect!
Good idea, pretty well presented but I found I could go for minutes at a time without needing to move at all and I never once had to use the jump. I also wonder if allowing the car to be moved to any position left to right rather than the three slots might make things more interesting. With a bit more variety in the obstacles this could be a really fun little game
I really like the concept of the game. I love the frog animations. I feel like the game gets a bit repetitive after some time and you could have added some new objects or features as time goes on. Overall, I really liked it. Good job!
Thanks for checking our game out! You made a cool little game here. I love that you switched the genre of frogger to a runner by shifting the player's perspective to the car. Very creative interpretation of the theme.
If I can offer a bit of constructive criticism, The gameplay was also a little repetitive. It would have been cool to see some kind of progression and introduction of new elements. The frog's hitboxes also were a little ambiguous. There were some moments I thought I'd hit a frog but it didn't register, and others where I hit a frog I thought I'd avoided.
Congrats on finishing the jam!
Fun little infinite runner, but I have one critique, I think you went a bit overboard with all the post-processing, perhaps tone it down a little, maybe remove some effects or at least have an option to turn it off?
Haha yeah after adding it no one in our team found it annoying so we kept it but I guess it might be too much for some haha. We plan to release an post jam update and we can add a option to toggle it!
The music really makes me feel like I am cruising along a seaside highway. Loved it!
Going insane because I run over a frog wasn't on the list of things I expected to do today :D
Funny game with cool style and polished mechanics. Well done!
Something about hitting frogs reducing your sanity is extremely damn funny
The game is very fun, difficult but not too difficult , sound effects were nice, art style was polished and the game fit the theme bang on. Good job!
Solid game, pretty polished! I know the whole point is to not hit the frogs, but the sound effects make them so crunchable... I love it. Was not able to get to 767 (how???), only got to 433.
On point! Really solid execution played just like I would expect and was the perfect difficulty for a jam game. Super impressive!!
very nice and fits the theme quite well.
Great choice of scope! It feels like a small, but finished game :D
Thank you! Glad you liked it!
Unfortunately the leaderboard only works on the windows build
I got 767 :)
Cute game! I really like the camera move at the beginning. The leaderboard doesn't seen to work unfortunately.
767 :O
