Switching the player's role. Instead of competing in an action packed battle royale, you simply clean up the aftermaths of one.

Great concept! I also love the art and the subtle detail of the music slowly speeding up
Since the game itself is quite repetitive, it would definitely help to bump up the player speed to stop it from feeling slow (You may need to make the map bigger or make the timer shorter etc to counteract this). I would also always recommend allowing for both WASD and the arrow keys to be used since a lot of players are already used to WASD.
Overall though, super cool game!
A very novel take on the game jam theme. I thought it was a chill game at first but then the music started to ramp up and then I noticed the timer. It did get pretty intense towards the end. Having more variety in tasks could go a long way but overall the concept was executed very well!
Love the art and music, credit to you for creating these elements during the Jam timing. The escalating tension in the music added a nice touch of urgency.
Gameplay is very simple but satisfying, and I appreciated the three different ways to interacting with the mess. Timer balance was well set; when I started I couldn't imagine getting it done in time, but I ended up having 55 seconds left on the clock.
I would love to see some kind of speed tech for the player to implement between messes, to engage even during the journey. Even a simple cooldown dash would add a lot to these moments.
Very noice game! The visual and audio style of it is amazing, as well as the idea of going around doing tasks, however I do think that player could really use some speed boost or maybe any sort of other upgrade system, beacause walking around gets a tad bit boring after a while, but other than that this is pretty good!
This is a pretty good game. It gets a bit boring after a time though, and doesn't have much replayability.
Fun little game. UI is easy to understand, but tasks get a bit repetitive.
More tasks to do that involve more than just pressing a button would make the game a lot more interesting!
Very clever concept and clean UI, I maybe wish there was more challenge to the tasks.
Music was awesome, gave so much charm to the gameplay.
Cool game with even better sound design. The notes going up when you click on the chest and the sound effects of the game definitely have a lot of charm. My only gripes are if the player could move during the zoom (unless you can and I'm tripping) and being able to speed up as another commenter has noted (completely understand time constraints). Still a chill game!!
The zoom feature was a great idea. And kudos for adding an in-game tutorial!
It is a fun little game with a creative concept. The character moves rather slow but that's okay if you use the zoom feature
very calm game, and the concept is pretty funny. great game!
Nice chill concept, the music was cute and the environment was entertaining since it had different types of islands to walk around. Wish there was some way to speed up Ted (maybe with the loot on the ground he's picking up?) because I had 1 minute to go and 1 task left but was unable to finish/find it.
1 task left is tragic! :(
I did plan for a dash mechanic, but it was scrapped for time unfortunately.
Hahah I love all the "You're X kinda NPC" games I'm seeing! The game itself would've benefited from some "juice", particularly with the movement - it's pretty slow at the moment (so more speed, general accel/decel with the camera partly following would help a lot with that "feel"). Great idea otherwise!
The art and music are incredibly well done! I think the more chill "cleanup" style of gameplay could work, but there needs to be some level design aspects to keep you engaged. I was also concerned I might miss something and then have to trek halfway across the map... so I kept hitting the zoom-out button.
Overall, the controls are fantastic. I wish there was more "hook", but the theming is amazing.
Very nice art and polish! (I like the tutorial) But it feels a bit boring to play, maybe it would be more fun with a shorter timer and a time bonus when tasks are completed.
Adding a time bonus when tasks complete is a great idea, I like that. I did originally have more cleaning mechanics planned but scrapped them due to time, that may have made things a bit more interesting.
Soo... I had to just smile at the title and I immediately clicked on it.
The presentation is awesome, theme fits perfectly.
The only thing I am missing, is a bit of action, since just walking around cleaning things is not my type of game. So:
The cleanup needs to happen during the battle royale. (Like the employees are rushed to clean up as soon as possible to save time, some kind of lore like that will fit)
That would add the element, of trying to survive still, while you cleaning up the stuff.
Still a really funny idea!
If you have some time, we would love also some feedback for our game :D
That's a great suggestion, dodging gun fights while cleaning sounds like it would make for a fun time.
Yeah, definitely and I bet it is very tik-likable XD If you know what I mean.
Awesome idea! Also, really nice sound design!
