the pixel art is so polished, the presentation for this game is phenomal! really interesting concept and nice execution as well
Really liked the pixel art and the character designs. Also the concept is really interesting.
Love that little guy, eyes always turned upward to see his captor coming, smiling as if nothing is wrong while thinking 'No way i'm gonna end up like fred, just lying there rotting away! Yes, watch me eat, watch me shower, don't wonder why boxes that took my five punches to break now fly into pieces at my slightest touch, it has nothing to do with those brick walls!'.
Really cool atmosphere, very well done!
There seems to be a slight bug when colliding horizontally with walls when jumping, but nothing major.
Loved it, I actually laughed when it booted. This is a very clever Idea and it's nicely executed. Loved the visuals as well. I feel bad for tamagotchis now.
Very unique idea. I genuinely felt the uncanny feeling of being watched whenever the eye appeared. I think that this is one of the best utilization of the theme. Really well done.
This idea is great! The artstyle was nice and having to manage your needs was a good challenge. The concept weirdly reminds me a lot of the escapists, with having to manage your routines while eating away at an escape method. It may be interesting to, like the escapists, have multiple methods of escape to incentivize replayability. Great job overall!
You can actually escape from the left side by using the boxs to perform a specific air jump. I have placed a door there just in case someone manages to do that. lol
You are right that having multiple methods to escape or multiple endings would be interesting.
This game absolutely rules. Really well polished and surprisingly feature complete for such a short jam. The art assets used were incredible as well. Excellent job, I'll be rooting for you to be featured by Mark.
This is such a polished and creative entry! I really liked the horror feeling of being watched by the owner, the big eye was terrifying. I encountered a bug where I stopped moving but I restarted because it was just so fun! Great job with this one.
The game is really really polished and really pleasant to the eyes! had a good time playing it so congrat's! sadly i got a bug at a moment where i was stuck mid air and i couldn't move anymore, but the game is still good!
The art is very good and the little guy is CUTE! I really enjoyed balancing priorities and making sure I don't get caught. Great work!
The pixel art looks very good and the colour palette used too :D I really like the concept and had a lot of fun playing the game.
Wow that was great! Really great use of theme and I like how the game had a kind of unsettling and stressful feeling when you're outside of the main area.
Such an eerie little game.
The best version of "tamagochi trying to escape" I've seen so far! Gj!
Really great idea for the theme and enjoyed playing this one well done. I was determined to escape! I also thought of doing a Tamagotchi type game at the start of the jam, so I'm glad to see that someone went with that idea :)
Great game, we were thinking about doing something very similar but I'm glad we didn't cause we wouldn't make it better than this! I was actually really spooked playing this, so that was a great success. Improvements to the camera and platforming controls would be nice, and also displaying more clearly that the time passes more quickly when you punch the barriers.
That's pretty neat idea for a game, especially with the story you've given. Kinda adds an extra layer that works for Jam's theme.
Having a player actually look at your pet was a nice touch, giving it a bit of horror feel (especially with that red tint in the restricted area). Definitely can see this potentially becoming a full game with a bigger story and mechanics.
Good job!
I really liked this one! Fun concept and execution, great work!
The graphics are gorgeous and cute. I really like the way you suddenly turn the cute aesthetic environment to a scary one when being watched. It has just the right feel. 5 stars from me :)
I like the horror take of the tamagochi escape style of games. Its quite scary when the eye is watching you and you must act "normal". Good job!
