Super creative idea and a really well-made ambiance!

Engaging, satisfying, and pleasant to look at. After getting a good score, though, there wasn't enough variety for me to want to try another long run to see if I could beat my score.

I love the visuals in this game, great job!

This is very fun! The game kept me going for quite some time. Very well made!

I had a weird bug where nothing would happen. I could hit the hammer but that's about it. Bummer, cause it looks pretty fun. I like the graphical style a lot

Submitted(+1)

Neat game, the hammer effect feels really good and smashing the weapons to pieces is super satisfying. I think the second conveyor added some extra challenge, but after getting faster at finding the correct pieces the game became a bit too easy. I think the second conveyor could move a bit faster, or there could be more weapons/items added to the game if you were to update this. Very enjoyable game, good work!

Good work and well executed! I especially loved the pixel effect on everything and the feedback all the juice when unforging items.

I guess it's a bug, and I haven't seen anyone else commenting on it, but I was unable to play it. I don't understand how to make anything happen, I hit the hammer everywhere, and nothing happens, and I don't get any instructions on what to do. It's a shame, as the game looks amazing :(

I got the same thing, no idea what's happening 🤷

Damn, I'm sorry to hear that. The conveyor belt is supposed to move and bring you new weapons to smash - If that's not happening then It's definitely a bug. We fixed similar bug at last minute before submitting, but I guess we didn't fix it completely.

Amazing idea, amazing gameplay, amazing graphics. That hammering animation makes for one crazy addicting game. Absolutelly well done!

What a fun game! Very few game jam games really do an appropriate job letting the player learn before ramping up the tension, but this had an excellent difficulty curve! I love the little hammer swinging animations too.

My one qualm is that because of the pixel-y 3D-ish style, I had a hard time reading some of the numbers for the requested items. Like sometimes a 1 and a 2 were hard to tell apart? Maybe the numbers didn't need to be diagonal to match the rest of the forge lol.

Thanks! As for fonts being difficult to read, the problem is even worse on ultrawide resolution - and I won't lie, It was just easier to put them under pixelation shader and call it a day haha. If we ever get to work on this game again there will definitely be proper, readable fonts.

This was a lot of fun once the second conveyer belt was added. Great job!

Such an awesome game - so addictive and the presentation is great!

OMG this is so much fun. And the art is pretty cool too. I wasn’t sure about the concept until you brought another conveyer belt in and then I was HOOOOKED. Good work!

Fun game with good graphics. The mechanic is interesting and enjoyable. Highly addictive with clever item management. The art style is cool, gameplay is unique, but difficulty ramps up quickly. Maybe it would be helpful to have an in-game explanation for the objective. Good job!

fun, has pretty good graphics

Interesting mechanic and quite fun. I think when the fire is dying it would be nice for the glow from the furnace to be dimmer to show the player that.

Really neat concept, here! This one has a really nice presentation and is just plain satisfying to play. I'd love to have a full campaign where in each level you could break down a pre-set sequence of items in the most efficient way possible and earn extra gold for not wasting any resources. Fantastic work!

great job team (:

Loved the sutble details like the muffled sound effect when not hitting the right spot.

forgeon, un-forged my weapons, can't have sh*t in detroit, (no joke i like that game so congrat's!)

For the first few seconds I thought it was dull and simple, but it turns out it was just a well done tutorial. After that I was hooked. Great job!

One small nit would be to make the moment when the item is "consumed" be a bit more obvious with some visual. As it is, it can be easy to think an item you know you sent into the hearth has already been counted and leave an item on the belt that shouldn't need to be there.

This could easily be a successful mobile game.
