How does your game fit the theme?
The theme was "Roles Reversed", so my idea is instead of playing with the player you play with the map, some levels have predetermined actions that the player wants to do and you need to make a lever around those actions.

Did your team create the vast majority of the art during the 48 hours?

Yes

We created the vast majority of the art during the game jam

Did your team create the vast majority of the music during the 48 hours?

No

We used pre-existing audio

Fantastic in both concept and execution. Has some really clever puzzles and I had no issue completing them, but could probably use a few more simple puzzles that demonstrate how certain mechanics and interactions can be exploited (e.g. changing direction mid-air, chaining together action blocks, placing blocks to prevent character from jumping too high etc.) before diving into the more complex puzzles. Also noticed that many puzzles require significantly less than all the blocks/actions provided, not sure if this was intentional but it does give the impression that I didn't find the intended solution. Regardless, definitely one of the most enjoyable and polished games I've played from this jam!

This is a very good game! I honestly don't have any major gripes on it. Well, actually, the later levels were quite challenging and I just gave up a bit after thinking about the answer to the puzzle too hard. I like the idea though. This could make for a very relaxing mobile game, good work!

I enjoyed playing! Nicely stable and polished, I think increasing the challenge while keeping the number of blocks lower would have improved the pacing.

A very clean implementation! Very fun to play, but once you refresh the page you most start from level one again..
Other then that a great game! really nice job

A simple idea, very well executed. The game is pretty well polished, with increasing difficulty each level. I had a bunch of arrow left in level 6 :)

We had a similar concept, but different execution. As feedback, instead of having all the blocks in the level, you could have a budget like Poly Bridge. By doing so, you don't have floating blocks that do nothing, I can show you a few layouts that don't utilize all the blocks:

Loved the puzzles, just the right amount of challenge :)

Super fun and relaxing game. I felt a little overwhelmed when presented with a ton of tools but after realizing you don’t need to use them all, I felt much more relaxed and it felt way more fun! Great job!

very cute, cool puzzles! Also I don't feel like what I made here was the intended solution XD

Developer

This was the solution that I had in my notes, you were more creative :)

When I built a level I make a full solution then I just spare the blocks and actions through the map.

cute pixel art and very clever use of the central mechanic! had to sit and stare at some levels for quite a bit...

feels like a fully finished little puzzle game, not a jam entry. stellar work

Great game, I really like the game studio vibe, I think it is almost like when singers sing about writing songs. Thanks for making this game, probably will play it a lot.

A really fun game with great pixel art. The ramp up in challenge feels really polished. As you might guess from my game I'm a sucker for good pixel art, very well done!

simple and chill, well done!

Fun implementation! Game gets tough as it goes on, which I like! Great work.

Making things look easy is hard: The game!

Cool puzzle game. Super well polished too. At first I thought it would be too easy but then I got stumped. Good job!

I expected to see more level builders, it's surprising that this is the first one I see.
If you fix the issue with game not starting, please ping me, I want to play it later. Was it made in Godot 4?

Developer(+1)

Yes i was made in godot 4, i recommend every unity programmer to mess around with godot, my build was like 10 seg, in unity a game like this would take at least 15 min to build.
It works in mac in chrome (I tested it macbook pro M1) it takes a while to load, but after loading it runs fine.

Submitted(+1)

I also have M1 mac and use chrome, but it hangs up after loading

Developer(+1)

After Jam ends i will read a bit more about the exports in godot.
If I work more in the game I will make a "native download" for Windows and Mac.

This game is really polished for a jam game, good work! It's a really good take on the theme as well. I like how many ways there are to complete each level. I would say, though, that some of the puzzles are too easy, as there is an overabundance of blocks to complete the level. Maybe there could be a "hard mode" option or something. Great game!

I also role-reversed a platformer but in a different way. If you have time, I'd love it if you tried it out!

I don't comment in all comments but I rate all games from the people that rate my game / comment the thread.

Polished game, great puzzles, cute pixel art, and satisfying sound effects. The difficulty curve is also very good.
