Very simple idea, but effective! I loved the idea of using the hole as a "black hole". It could be interesting to add a game mode where you have to clean the path while the ball is moving, it could make the game more challenging. Well done and good luck with the jam!
The best take I've seen on the "reverse golf" genre, I really liked how you were the hole manipulating things instead of just playing normal golf with the hole. I do with some of the later levels had a few more strokes available, it got quite difficult.
I really love this concept, just some nitpicky critique: I did however find as though I was playing on ice or an air hockey table as the physics felt just a tad too slippy. The tail end of the hole settling into place took just a bit too long. Other than that, really creative! The music fit well and I love the art style you chose for this congrats!
Incredible, its great to see how a simple idea can get so complex with just adding some elemets great job.
i like the game but its kinda hard
The level where the hole can go out of bounds caught me off guard, definitely something I didn't expect but it adds to the challenge, simple but fun!
lovely little game! I wish the hole would come to a stop more quickly cause waiting to take the next shot can take quite a long time. Other then that great stuff!
Simple, but well made and fun. Feels very clear and responsive with the movements. Good submission!
A simple idea and fun game!
Cute game, also pretty funny how the trees fall into a moving hole.
It’s pretty chill and hard at the same time (couldn’t beat level 4 xD)
Fun idea. Occasionally ran into some annoying bugs, which I'm sure would've been quick fixes if there was more time. Props to you for managing to make this many levels. Great game!
This is cool! Simple idea done well with satisfying gameplay
Beautiful and fun! I couldn't figure out level 4 but had a great time trying to!
This is fun! Took me a minute to realise I was supposed to get the hole back to the flag so at first I thought the game had glitched and failed to load the golf ball - my own fault for not reading the instructions :')
Nice one! Felt great to pull some rooms off on the last shot.
I had the same initial premise for my entry, but I like how we ended up with completely different results :)
Great minds think alike ;)
Fun, and surprisingly tricky! I like it.
It’s a pity with the level transition bug. I managed the coax the game to allowing me to test out the two first levels and I feel like there’s room for interesting mechanics in the premise.
One thing that struck me while redoing the first level a bunch of times was that it’s possible to complete the objective in less hole movements (bounce off a side wall and back) but the game requires you to do all movements. And this isn’t really communicated that well with the word “Left” and it would be a neat bonus challenge in completing levels sub-par so to say.
Also since the hole was really snappy to the pole, which was very nice. It might have been nicer if it came to a halt a bit faster and didn’t have the part where it very slowly creeps forward… or perhaps one can do the next move before it comes to rest? I didn’t check that. But I also see the point of the “oh just a little bit longer” that those last seconds and pixels traversal may hold.
The presentation was nice and clean in general, though the white color of your push-meter thing was a bit problematic with the white borders around each track/level.
Thank you so much for the feedback. I plan to improve the game after the jam so this helps a lot.
