Very nice little game, it's very polished and is fun to play, good job on this one. Some music would be appreciated tho.

Keep up the good work !

Adorable art and so satisfying! Was a little confused on how the upgrade menu came up, but then I noticed it's based on health. Horizontal movement felt sluggish, just ended up going straight down the entire time. Getting multiple bounces bouncing off each other felt SO GOOD. I had a tough time choosing upgrades and ended up just buying damage -> health -> anything random I could afford. When the pacing matched a new biome to a new upgrade it felt great.
"Ending" was fun, well done!

How did you make such a simple game idea so satisfying! The art style was great and the gameplay extremely balanced. Good job!

Very, very fun game. I really enjoyed it. Good job balancing the power ups, it was fun all the way through!

Nice, polished game.

Nice polished little game, could definitely see this being expanded in fun ways. Good job!

LOVED how ceotic ths is at the end, just swimming through the stones, pls continue to work on this

I love this! I hope you expand it more it's real satisfying.

Great game. The only issue I encountered was the gameplay loop, which benefitted most from allowing the player character never to move horizontally and spam down the middle.  More incentive to move around would have helped change the gameplay approach.

Quick and fun game was that was a lot more fun than I would have expected. Just wish I got the end screen after I got all the upgrades.

I love games of this genre, it would be great if the game was longer!

Developer(+1)

I agree, but my aim was to make it a 5 minute game for the jam. Perhaps I turn this into a full steam game. Hmmm :)

Very polished and you got the "big number brain happy" vibe right. Great game.

Developer

Monkey brain like numbers. :)

This game was a great use of Kenney assets, as well as Godot engine! It was one of those just one more round games for me, and honestly I would have played several more lives if there wasn't a you win screen!

Probably the same thing you will tell me: this is totally not my type of game

Still I enjoyed it! Looks like something that someone that built a mining game prototype would build.

I like that it is idle and cookie clickery but still has some mechanical/movement to it. For someone that doesn’t enjoy idle games, that little bit helps a lot to make it more palatable.

The one strange thing for me was the “slam down”, either It doesn’t work or I didn’t quite understand it, didn’t see a difference pressing S/Down or not (is this only unlocked with some power up that I didn’t buy?)

the mining is surprisingly satisfying

“Note: You need to unlock some downward thrust speed to use your downward thrust (S or Down Arrow). Downward thrust uses your momentum to destroy block in a a row. It’s super OP and super fun so I left it in.”

ok………. i went back and had to play again, broke my policy of refusing to read instructions, that does add quite a bit more to the game

I think it would be good to have an end goal clear and visible from the start, instead of just number go up

overall solid little game

Developer

Thanks for playing! The slam stuff almost got removed because it just wasn't super clear and was too OP. But it was just to fun not to have.

Nice visual style, great sound effects, good progression and resource balance. I really miss some music for the game I think it would be a nice final touch to perfect gameplay loop) Overall, great job! Really enjoyed the game!

That was great fun! You know its a good game when you complete it without even meaning to. Honestly the only thing I wish it had is a magnet upgrades to pull gems towards you. The sound for that would be incredible.

cool style and the gameplay and I really enjoyed, nice to see this project

Fun game reminds me of motherload. Length felt perfect for a game jam but I could definitely see the concept being expanded. The modifiers start really scaling up, it also reminds me a bit of leafblower simulator but your core loop is a bit more interesting to me.

Thanks, my goals was 5 minutes so you could "get it" have fun and then go rate other games. Part of me for sure wants to make a little game like this for a steam game . Cheers!
