The S rank for Shredded! It was only able to happen because your game (the first non AAA game to do this) actually used the rhythm and not just the visual indicator. Thank you! 5- stars! Please rate my game
I got a B, which means I'm a beast! I loved the song, and it would have been fun to see the character's muscles scale up during the game. Great job!
Very nice!! We thought about the muscles scaling up with the combo or something like that but we couldn't achieve that easily within the time window of the game jam. It would have been cool tho, I agree with you!
Fun style and well-made game! Since this is a rhythm game, I do really wish that the music was made specifically for the game rather than using free assets, but I understand if you weren't able to find a composer. I think you could have switched up the rhythm a bit more to fit more with the music, as playing it made me feel like the music was more of an afterthought. However, I do like rhythm games and this one is a solid one. Good job!
Thank you!! We would have really liked a song specifically for the game, but we didn't have access to a composer so we had to use whatever we could find, so we decided to use this song as it was full of energy and it would fit the feeling we wanted to achieve. I agree that it would have been better to use original music tho.
Liked it a lot. Song and scoring system was cool. Would've liked the left and right hand UI to be a bit closer together (maybe it's just me but hard to see the both at the same time). Loved how the grades were named (B)east, (S)hredded, etc.
Thank you!! It is a bit hard seeing both at the same time and it definitely takes some time to get used to it.
I had a blast playing this! Loved the style and the graceful scoring system because I thought I did a lot worse than the score showed. Well done!
Thank you for your kind words!!
Fun game and premise! I got 93% accuracy and 48820 score... Hopefully good considering that I don't usually play rhythm games. Great job!
Thank you!! You did great!
the vaporwave style was really nice, and i like rhytm games so it was pretty fun, i dont know if theres an ending, but i didnt reach it. still had fun tough.
Good job!
if you wana try out my brother's game its here https://aviv-youker-harel.itch.io/scales-of-olympus
Thank you for playing!! There is indeed an ending to the song. The song is about 3 minutes and 28 seconds If I'm not mistaken. Will definitely check it!
I really enjoyed the synthwave aesthetic! It took some time to master the controls, maybe a sound effect or some particles would've helped. Overall, a pretty solid game! Well done!
Thank you!! We decided not to distract the player, but it seems that it would have been better to include some indications for the accuracy of the hit.
Great art work and loved the color palette ✔️👍
Thank you!!
haha that's a funny idea with the man in the background :D Nice game ! too bad the game don't have a lot of feedbacks when you click, in my opinion it miss a sound, a shake or some kind of animation
Thank you!! We also got this feedback from other people. Some visual or audio feedback about the accuracy from the hit would make the experience better. We originally went without any as not to distract the player but it seems that we should have put some in the game.
ok I'm really bad at this hahaha I really wanted the man to get buff or something but having the keys come from both sides can be very confusing. it is really cool looking and a funny way to integrate the theme
Thank you for playing!! It can be a bit overwhelming at the start but after 2 tries or so, I believe that you get used to it!
BEASTTT
AYY NICE!! Good job and thank you for playing!
Song went on a little, was ok but needed to be all synched to music and the reps - be need to scale the character with each combo - good polish and complete experience well done
Thank you for playing the game!!
I'm a Beast!
Hehe good job! Thank you for playing!! You can aim even higher and get Shredded!
This kind of reminds me of the Kelorometer minigame from Warioware Smooth Moves! Very wacky and visually polished. I just wish the scaled played a bigger part in the game itself.
Thank you for playing!! We decided to keep the scale as the punchline and make it funny and didn't have time to explore more uses. Will definitely keep it in mind in my next work
Fun game, graphics look nice im going to play till i brake the scale
the inputs aren’t really synced to the music, which is kind of important. also…rhythm heaven’s figure fighter was better
Just ok…
