Interesting how it calculates how much % I got right! Very well implemented little puzzle solver! Love it!
Thanks! If you want to know exactly how it works, the score is divided into 4 quarters. Each one respectively corresponds to the placement, the scale of the objects, their layer and the final one is the easiest one as it checks if you placed all the objects. With that scoring system it's not that hard to get 50% or more, it's not that punishing, and is fairly simple to calculate. If I had time I would have worked a bit more on the balancing but I'm fine with how it works for the game jam.
This is such an awesome game! Feels relaxing with its cozy atmosphere and splendid art. I really enjoyed playing this one :)
Thank you!
Such a cozy game, I love the art and the vibes <3
Glad you like it!
Lovely. Fit the theme really well!
Thank you!
This reminds me of the games i like to play Last Call BBS and MechBuilder on steam! The torn reference photo is definitely refreshing from all these types of games. It's quite chill and fun i'd say-- I wish I could ignore the time and go zen mode
Thanks!
You'll be happy to learn that a zen mode is planned for the post jam version then! I didn't want people to stay for too long on the game (so they can test it and rate it as a whole instead of spending too long on 1 single level). I didn't kniw about your references I'll check that!
interesting and cute
Thanks!
What an incredibly charming, cute, & simple game! I literally screamed when I saw the bunny on a carrot ship! The art is so inspired & cozy; I definitely want to see more levels. I was so sad when I completed the penguin puzzle & got to the end of the game. I hope you make this a full game with tons of levels of cute art. If you have a moment, check out my team's puzzle game too!
Haha thanks!
It takes a bit of time to make a level. You need to make the art then set all the values manually to make calculate the score. Glad you liked it!
It was a fun, yet simple game to play! Very cute art and very easy game to grasp. Super relaxing as well. Good job!
Thank you I'm glad you like it!
Amazing work, fun mechanic, and great presentation!
Thanks!
This reminded me a little of a Little to the Left! Very cute, the transitions are amazing! I feel like close to the beginning of the jam one my initial ideas was to create a game where different objects needed to be organized in a space but you had to find the right size or scale for everything in order for them to fit nicely together. This reminded me of that idea. Nice job!
Thank you! I didn't know about A little to the left, that game looks cool!
Looks really cute and plays well, but I fish the parts were always on the right layer, it's a bit frustrating when you adjust one part at the bottom and it all becomes a train wreck. Oh, and great screen transitions, wanted to do something like that for our game but ran out of time.
Thanks for the feedback! Yeah the layers are kinda hard to deal with if you do not take them into account quickly. Though it adds a bit of additional challenge to the game so it's not that bad I'd say. I wonder if there would be an easier way to manage them, I didn't have much time to think about that during the jam.
Yeah, time is very limited. I wish I could implement an undo button in our game, but ended up spending that time on level design and I think the game is better for it.
I adore this game as a puzzle enthusiast!! Relaxing to play especially after GMTK. Perfect game to wind down to <3
Thank you so much!
Ah, I really enjoyed playing that, it was very chill and the art style was so cute! Great job! <3
Thanks so much I'm glad you liked it!
Very cute and fun game!
Thanks!
Relaxing, took me a bit of time to understand how to play at first but relaxing after :)
Good to hear :)
Amazing art! Some options to turn down the music a little would have been nice. Overall a really relaxing and enjoyable game! : )
Ah didn't have time to properly make an option menu sorry about that...
Hope it's not too loud, our composer wasn't sure about the volume.
Nice art design! Good job.
Thanks!
stellar concept, nice art
Thank you so much!
really cool concept! reminds me a bit of the gundam building simulator section of last call bbs. The timer felt a little bit short in my opinion, although I was using a trackpad so that could be my bad haha. I can see an untimed mode with more difficult levels with a lot of pieces being super relaxing.
Thanks for the feedback!
The no timer mode was planned but I think for the jam a timer was the best choice, so that people don't get mad for too long on the game. Though, after the ratings of the jam I'll add the mode so that people can test the game in a much more cosy way.
Also yeah trackpad might not be the best controller was this game, I hope it's not too difficult :)
I found one little flaw: the pieces are hard to get when they are behind another piece, every time you touch a piece it goes on top of all other ones.
However the game feels very polished, it's pretty and relaxing. And it's the only flaw I found.
Overall: good game. I liked it
Hey thanks for playing our game!
Yeah that can be a tricky situation though that's how things work in real life puzzles ;)
Joke aside I'd say it's part of the experience, you need to sort all the pieces in the right order, so placing the farthest ones first should be the best strategy. I agree that there may be a better way to handle this though..
