Wow such an interesting idea! Awesome job! The music and visuals are really good!
Reminded me of Mario Galaxy! While it was fun, I wished there was a way to rotate the camera so I could tell which asteroid I was moving towards. I also wanted some way to slow down the ship because it's hard to stop once you get moving. Great work!
Oh geez, this was incredibly disorienting and I don't normally get motion sickness in games. Having the ship move in a different direction than its pointing felt odd, and it felt like I kept skimming up against asteriods without having a way to slow down and land on them. The procedural animations are really nice, but I had to stop playing early because of the camera swinging wildly in random directions.
This game is somehow cozy, I've loved it.
I'm seriously amazed by the World Eater's procedural animations and the gravity around the planets.
As others have pointed out, it would be nice to have a way to rotate the camera, not to know where you are (the gravity shifting is a pretty good indicator that there is a planet or asteroid nearby), but to watch as the World Eater slurps the planets. Also, I would've liked having more than one planet, eating asteroids doesn't seem that impactful to me.
Nice work!
Interesting concept but it's definitely diminished by the fact that you can't move the camera! This could also use a slightly better tutorial, I wasn't sure what the point of connecting to the meteors was! Other than that though, definitely an interesting game.
Another thing - the logo image is clearly created using AI, which is against the rules of the jam and you should remove it!
A space game in my game jam? I like this idea a whole lot than I first thought.
The only issue i had was the fixed camera making it hard to look for asteroids, I had to guess most of the time. And the gravitational fields suddently changing making me fly out into space.
Overall, pretty good for 96 hours.
This game is super cool! I love way the gravity works around the planets, that is just my vibe. I feel like being able to move the camera would be a good addition as I couldn't really see where I was going sometimes
I really really loved the music. It's so whimsical. I also liked the concept, it's very spooky. But I couldn't move easily, wasd doesn't always work and I couldn't figure out how to move to the next planet.

It's an interesting concept, the only trouble I had is that It was not clear for me if I have done anything right... I would really appreciate as player if there are some visuals or sounds (or both) that would let me know if I've done something getting me further to the goal!
I imagine getting the multiple planet's gravity to work must have taken some effort haha!
I know that this must be a challenging thing to accomplish, but it would be nice if the rocket stopped being affected by any gravity after reaching a certain distance (right now, you are always facing directly downward toward a planet). It would be fun to cruise around freely in a rocket.
The planets look very nice, I wish there were more of them!
It would also have been great to have some thrust particles come out of the rocket, to visualize that you are flying a bit better.
Great work! I hope you continue to work on this :)
I don't think the 'World Crank' mentioned with the controls in the description worked, or if it did, I couldn't figure out how to use it. I went and attached the tentacle to the other planet, and I assume that the world eater was supposed to be able to pull the planet back in, but I couldn't figure out how to do that.
