Loved the gubus! Shout-out to greenda for helping out the environment with their straw choice. It was a clean, satisfying loop, and lots of fun to replay.

Really cool game. While the simple gameplay may seem repetitive or boring at first glance, it does what it needs to do, and it does it perfectly, I am glad you didn't try to overcomplicate it.
I loved the art style, which fits really well with the game, and I wish there were more levels because I wanted to play more by the end of the game.

Thanks for playing and for the feedback! The levels are "procedurally" generated if I can use the term loosely, in that the density of gubus spawned, positions, and objective are all generated from noise functions. Other than that though, I definitely agree there isn't much variation - something we might look at addressing post-jam.

That's a perfect entry for me! Simple to play, really fun, gave me a bit of a geoguesser vibe with the score system, I found myself replaying it a bit more than I intended haha. Congratulation for the entry!

Geoguessr was my main inspiration for the structure of the game! Thanks for checking it out!

okok i demand an in game high score board o: i got 27k which took me a couple of tries but this is a very neat and cozy experience. Very nice art style and sound FX! i also appreciate that you took the time to code some variations in levels so each run was a bit different.

A leaderboard would be rad. Right now we're just working on an honor system to determine the Rank 1 Gubu Gamer. Thanks for checking it out!

Love the art style, fantastic vibes, feels like a Where's Waldo! Only feedback I have is maybe up the number of the black creatures in the later rounds to have a bit more challenge - I often found I didn't even need to click any of them

Thanks for playing! We did try a version where each level increased the amount of those guys, but we thought it ended up changing the nature of the game from a guessing game to more of a spot the guys game. Not necessarily a bad thing but we wanted the focus to be more on accuracy of the selection.
