Well, you see, dragons have scales. And you’re building scales to order! You then have to scale the scales so they fit the scales!

This was a seriously clever use of the theme. I really liked the pixel art, and had a lot of fun trying to perfect my scale-forging!

Very creative take on the theme, I dont know if I was doing something wrong but even getting perfect scales I never seemed to have time to get more than 3 done before game over.

Great game, my highest score is 780.
I hope there is a reset game button though, I am addicted to making my score higher.

Alot of work put into this. Great work.

Fun game :)) Gameplay feels smooth and animations are so cute. Nice job

Great small game in a really polished package, only issue I had was that scaling could be difficult on a touchpad!

What a cute game! The background alone made me smile even before the game loaded in, and 1+ for adding in an difficulty modifier with the scale hint. I think my biggest frustration was wishing that the "Attach It!" button was a bit bigger; I messed up a few times re-scaling a perfectly-fitted scale by hitting close to the button instead of the button itself. Overall though, really few areas of critique; this is a pretty game that was fun to play. Kudos to you!

Thank you for the kind words and the detailed feedback! I've experienced that same frustration during my playtests, I just didn't have the time to iron it out before the jam ended! Thank you for playing 💜

OMG dragon scales yes. I was hoping to find a game about dragon scales. What an awesome take on the jam. What a neat concept and is was hard but fun. Also very visually appealing!

Thank you very much! ^^ Thanks for playing

Congrats for the idea of scaling the scale to fit the dragon, I don't remind seeing a mechanic like that! I would like to see more into it.

Overall the premise is really good though I'll agree with other commenters that getting a perfect scale is rough.

I do however love the fact that the scales are patterned in such a way you don't often get the full picture and need to figure out which part of the scale you're looking at.

A very creative take on the theme with good execution.

So hard to do more than 6 perfect scales! Really liked the music modulation at each scale, building tension over time! Great geam!

5 perfect scales is my best so far! Scaling scales for scales. Scales.

Jokes aside, gameplay was clear, got me quickly engaged and difficult enough to require focus without being frustrating. Great juice, visuals and charm... not much else to say really! If continuing development perhaps it could become more involved by having ways to extend our timer, but here it feels great.

Awesome take on the theme!!! In enjoyed it!

Maybe, you could have this as part of a bigger game!

A fun concept with a nice atmosphere. It was quite difficult to get the scale of the scales to scale to the scale of the other scales, and adding time when completing a scale so the game lasts longer could be a good improvement. However, the gameplay loop is quite enjoyable and the art and music fits the setting very well.

Absolutely looove the style !!

Short but awesome game! I loved it!

Wow, this is such a delight! Beautiful pixel art, great game-juice, and super on-theme! The gameplay is easy to pick up and the randomized scales make it easy to come back to again and again. Fantastic work!
