Music was epic, mech looked great - the movement was a little clunky but it was fun to play

Look amazing and very cute and creative robot fight. Reminds me a bit of Regular Human Basketball

Developer(+1)

That game also came up during our idea sparring! We wanted to combine Shadow of the Colossus with Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime, which in turn reminded our developer of Regular Human Basketball :D

Well done! In the beginning, I had trouble understanding how to control the robot. It was not as clear that you could jump directly from the leg to the forearm. In terms of UX, the smoke indicating the weapon’s cooldown was smart. Inputs work pretty well, and the theme music was on point. I would have liked to have more rounds of fights.

Developer(+1)

Yeah, if we had had more time, a rounds system was next on the list, so that we could balance the fights to become harder and harder :)

Nice, looking forward to seeing a second iteration!

Love the concept, with atleast 1 more person this could be a great co-op game!

Developer

And with splitscreen we could also 1v1 and 2v2 matches :D

When Shadows of the Colossus is to help the colossus instead of taking it down!

You nailed that Mecha Aesthetics and vibe! And great use of the theme! Well done!

I really loved the visuals and the control mechanics. Still misses something but it already feels very good. Great job!

Really cool concept and fun gameplay - can't go wrong with bit bots!

Took a bit to get used to the movement, but pretty fun. Kinda felt like playing rock paper scissors with giant robots xD

Would be amazing if there was multiplayer!

I really loved the visuals.

clever idea, good controls, very polished!

I love the concept, but it was a little confusing to play at first. I think this could work nicely as an Overcooked-style multiplayer game.

Damn this is sick bro who doesn't like to play as giant robots. I would love the enemy robot have a bit more intelligence though he was mostly just standing there.

Developer

You're totally right. There is some AI behind his actions, but seeing as we didn't have time to add multiple rounds/levels, we had to balance him to be quite easy. Maybe we'll add that functionality soon!

It's alright I still enjoyed the game 👍

Really cool titans and love seeing the wee robot scramble up and down!

Submitted(+1)

You really nailed the mech aesthetic! Very novel gameplay concept too.
My only criticism is that the victory/defeat screen doesn't do much to explain that [Spacebar] is used to restart the game.

Great stuff!

Cool game! The soundtrack was nice, and I liked the visuals.

I love the look and idea.  Feels just a little clunky figuring out where the paths work and where exactly to go to activate powers.
