Such a great concept changing you speed based on scale! The level design was also pretty good and the game was fun overall!
Really appreciate the kind comment! Glad you dug the level design, that was one thing I was unsure about. Kudos for playing!
Loved it! Everything is spot on for the ambiance: music, gameplay, level design. Would definitely play a long version of this one.
So glad you loved it! Really tried to create some ambience by dedicating a bit of time to all the elements, stoked that it come through. Defs looking to work on this further!
Really cool concept! Was legitimately hard though lol.
Thanks! Yeah, didn't realise as I was constantly testing as I worked on it. Shows you the importance of feedback and getting play testers. Appreciate you playing and commenting :)
Fun came for how nice and simple it looks. had a lot of fun
Realy glad you had fun :) Many thanks for playing!
Amazing concept, easy to learn hard to master, would love seeing a full tension game with this mechanic
"Easy to learn, hard to master". Still one of my favourite quotes of all time :)
Many thanks for the kind words! Definitely looking to take it further, especially excited to work on adding more tension and narrative elements.
Thanks for playing!
Found it very hard but it's a great and gripping idea!
Yeah going to tinker with that difficulty a bit :) Really glad you enjoyed it!
Loved the idea! Didn't expect to be chased by a scary red guy during the beginning.
Awesome! Yeah, loved implementing the build in the intro - staring with the poster :)
Thanks for playing!
i like it, it is very creative
Appreciate it :)
It was short and sweet. Really like the chasing aspect because it adds a feel of urgency and fear. Good job.
Thanks! Yeah, once I had the scaling mechanic down and did a little level-building, definitely felt some urgency was needed. So the Red Block Murderer was born. Thanks for playing!
I like the concept and I think you utilized the main mechanic well in the level design. I had some bugs were sometimes the button or the killer wouldn't register me touching them and I'd just be sitting there, unable to do anything. Perhaps lacking a bit of polish, but that's to be expected from a 48 hour game.
Thanks! Yeah, seems collisions are one of the main issues I'll need to address. Fairly new to it, so this the perfect project to get it down. Indeed, some polish would be nice haha. Thanks so much for playing and leaving feedback. Much appreciated!
good lord that's terrifying
at first i felt that it was a weird choice that you move faster when you're big and slower when you're small, but once the red guy was introduced, it made perfect sense lmao. really cool, i'd love to see this expanded

I'm really getting a kick out of people getting terrified haha. Really appreciate the play!
Yeah, it just kind of just fell together as I tested out mechanics and I was like "this is kinda fun!"
Awesome, def looking to work on this further. Glad you enjoyed it!
Scary red block
Scared blue block
really fun game, i like it!
Really appreciate it :)
Genuinely a really cool mechanic that’s easy to pick up but has a surprising amount of skill expression for how simple it is. There were a couple places collisions didn’t work but overall, nice work!
Thank you so much. Had loads of fun tinkering with the balance between speed and scale. One of my favourite game jam project so far.
Indeed, the collision need some taming!
Thanks for the playing :)
Rather enjoyable little game! Tho it sometimes did not register collisions. Had fun for a solid 15 minutes.
The artstyle is very solid and consistent even though it's quite simplistic.
Overall a splendid job for a 48h game.
Many thanks! Really awesome to hear you could get a solid 15 out of it :)
Yeah, def need to look at the collisions. It's been wreaking a bit of havoc in this game!
And yeah, kind of fell in love with the simplicity of the art. Big fan of minimalism :) Will have to work a bit on the uniqueness, though. A bit close to Thomas was Alone, atm.
Thanks for playing!
This was cool!! Definitely scary and hard but very enjoyable
Thanks, really appreciate the play! Yeah, need to fine-tune that difficulty a bit lol :)
Actually terrifying.
Boo!
Haha, thanks for playing. Always glad to add a little bit of terror to someone's day. In a good way. I'm not a murderer, I promise.
heh! And here I though making a horror game with this theme was hard :D well done! small game and simple concept but well executed!
Much appreciated :)
Yeah, the horror just kind of sneaked in haha. It wasn't the original plan! For once, I managed to keep it small and simple. I always overscope! Even this was super tight.
Kudos for playing!
I feel you! It is challenging to keep something simple and not overscore ^^ but glad you managed it. Also cool Profile Picture :3 <3 Grim Fantago
Hell yeah, always lovely to meet a fellow Fandango fan! One of my earliest gaming memories, and probably the one that got me into narrative-driven gaming :)
Keen to give your game a try, will probably jump in this weekend! The titles on your page look super interesting. Kind of Lynchian horror vibes, which is right up my alley! The Night is Long looks cool.
hehe thanks! Yeah you are right it kind of a lovecraftian horror game indeed :3 I also enjoy narrative-driven games quite a lot. Most of my games I try to put a little bit of story to drive them forward ^^
Love the concept but man I found this hard to play ha, Congrats
Thanks! Haha, yeah a few people mentioned that. Think I'm going to try and implement difficulty levels. Would be a cool learning curve as I've never done it before. Thanks so much playing :)
