The great ant chef, and his millions of minions! Really interesting game with great art! It would be awesome to make this into a full game, with multiple locations and different foods and maybe some helper cooks?

I found a bug... it was the chef! But no, for real, I couldn't make the ants stop delivering me crumbs, making me have to quit.

Developer

Haha so many bugs (ants)!! Thank you for playing, we'll look into the crumb delivery system!

great and super polished! make me feel like i playing overcook!

Developer

Yay thank you for playing!! We were inspired by overcooked!!

Submitted(+2)

Very polished game!

It took me some time to understand what to do but it works well, good job!

Developer

Thank you so much for playing!!

Cute and really polished game, but can you explain me what to do please? I just can't get it, and manager just does nothing, I can run around but I can't pick up anything. I really wanna play it tho :(

Absolutely! So, you click on the Ant Manager folder to bring up the manager, and then you click and drag from the anthill icon to any of the pieces of food. That'll tell your worker ants where they should march to start bringing back crumbs!

After that, it's all about taking the crumbs to the correct stations to prepare the orders you see across the top of the screen, and serving them on the picnic blanket on the right side of the screen!

Oo, got it! A bit busy right now, but will definitely come back and try it

Made me want to go on a picnic! (Maybe without the ants irl.)

Developer

Yeah, if only we had a real ant chef restaurant ;-;

I love the art and idea, but the sound is a little weird sometimes, but I still like it!

Developer

Thanks for playing!! Yeah we wish we had some more time to fine tune that sound haha

And it's amazing how a cute cooking game suddenly turned into a horror...

ps. You can attach a video of how to play the game to make it easier for people to get started. Your game definitely deserves attention!

Developer

Yayyyy! o7 for your ant sacrifice.

And thanks for the tip about the video, that's a great idea!

Looks supercute and plays really well! And accidentally being picked up and getting a damn darks souls death screen will probably my highlight of this jam hahahah, awesome job! :D

Developer(+1)

Yesssss hahah that's probably our favorite part too xD Thanks for playing!!!!

It took me a little while to understand where to deliver, but once I got it it was a really fun game! I loved the animations and the set dressing, awesome work!

Glad you enjoyed our game, and thank you for the compliment!

At first I didn't know what to do and was getting a bit frustrated, until I server by error something and the big hand took it and from that moment, I loved the game and started making stuff happily, bacon was a bit buggy and after getting too much stuff the game started lagging, but it was awesome!

Yea, the collision on the food was one thing we just didn't have the time to perfect, but I'm glad you still enjoyed the game nonetheless!

Cool art!

Developer

Thank you!! Probably the most art I've made in such a short time ever xD

This is so cute! I love this little chef hat! ♥ Although, at one point the music became very loud very quickly and I almost lost my hearing. But that's okay because this ant is cute ♥

Developer(+1)

So glad you loved the little ant!! The ant design was definitely my favorite to draw <3 No clue why the music became loud at one point haha, sorry about your ears!!

The art was amazing and the concept was great but I struggled with there being no learning curve. Felt very complicated up front. But overall good job!

Developer

We definitely need to improve the ability to learn and understand at the beginning, but thank you for playing!!

I love the art style and the cute idea! I love the drawings of the ants helping in the kitchen. Took me a little to get the hang of it, controls are a little off but not too much. Music fits well. The crumbs after a while broke the physics of the game for me, but still a fun experience. Also I got eaten on my first order XD.

Developer

Hahaha thank you for the praise!! Lots of fine tuning still to do, but we really appreciate you playing!!

Amazing art, I loved it. The start was a bit fast paced. Cool overcooked style. Controlling the items was a little jank. The ant was very cute

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing!!!

too complicated start, couldn't make any food.

Developer(+1)

If you select the Ant Manager folder you will be able to draw lines to the nearby food! Then get right into cooking!

Submitted(+1)

Unfortunately, none of the food spawned for me.

In order to get crumbs to spawn, you have to use the Ant Manager at the bottom of the screen to assign your worker ants to the different resource nodes!

Cute little game! I can't quite get the hang of it, but I'll come back to in a bit later!

Developer

Try using the Ant Manager tab at the bottom of the screen to kick off the food delivery! Thanks for playing!
