Y'know, who doesn't feel a little like a robot with our arms and legs blown off, all just climbing our own summits? Enjoyed my time and made it to the top
Thanks for playing through the whole game! :)
Beautiful game! I like the idea of gaining abilities as you gain limbs. Very well made, and rage-inducing at times (in a good way), some of those jumps were challenging. Overall well done!
Thanks so much for playing!
solid platformer. the grappling gun really gives you a lot of momentum if you release it at just the right moment :)
but getting stuck on thoso ledges was a bit frustrating, especially at the beginning.
PS: if you scale up your window, the cutscenes get a bit out of hand.
Thanks! Yeah the movement and collisions needed a bit more work, and I thank Godot for the web build scaling issue haha, thanks for playing! :)
Love this! Tight platforming rules
Thank you for playing! :)
Really great game! I love the art style and the cutscenes. My only issue with the platforming was that switching directions in mid air feels a little awkward, but I really liked the way "checkpoints" were handled and I felt like I could freely attempt tricky jumps without worrying about losing progress
Thank you for playing! I struggled with getting the x axis movement feeling right, I'll likely revisit this project at some point to work on that :). I'm glad you liked the checkpoints, I wanted to alleviate the pressure on players a little bit so they don't have to replay the whole game every time they die haha
Great game with fun gameplay. I love the cute art style and relaxing music.
Thank you!
The game has its quirks like the story being told and the abilities being things on the robots body. But the platformer controls really make the story land less well than it should. My main gripe was the grappling hook, while a nice mechanic on the surface. It doesn't feel all that accurate sometimes. Overall a very creative game tho!
Thanks for playing, I know the controls are buggy I'd definitely work on them more if I had more time :)
Very good concept
Thanks for playing :)
Your game is fun to play. Especially with its great music and sound effects, which make it even more enjoyable. Also the story and in-game dialogues are a nice touch.
I did notice that the checkpoints sometimes trigger too early, even when I haven't fully reached the platform.
Is there a good ending? I can't let him sad like that!
Thanks for the game!
Thanks for playing, I'm glad you enjoyed it! I am aware the checkpoints can be a bit easy to trigger, but I figured it was better that than the opposite where the player sometimes didn't trigger them :). unfortunately there is no good ending... perhaps at some point I will return to the project and add one :D
Very solid game, loved the level design that makes you use all of the mechanics. But in a way i think it needs polish on the collision of the player and the mechanic of the hook. The spikes are not very visible, for me is because of the colors that are around the spikes. But, overall, i liked the game.
Thanks for playing! Yeah I didn't have time to properly finesse all of the movement mechanics, but I'm glad you liked the game :)
I love the little cutscene animations. Great game overall.
Thank you!
solid work! I liked the theme / art style and the unlocking / collection of mechanics throughout! I would get stuck some times on some platforms but nice work all around
Thanks, the movement could be a bit glitchy - I'd definitely polish that up in future if I return to this idea, thanks for playing!
This was really awesome! Could be a longer form rage game with some time put in to really make super hard areas and get rid of check points. I loved getting new body parts and discovering my next movement ability
Thank you! I'd love to return to this idea :)
So Good! great art and the progression worked really well with gathering all the body parts. I found the grapple to be a little confusing with how it works to begin with, but by the end I was able to fling myself up with it which was quite fun. As a whole really great!
Thanks for playing!
Excellent cutscene before the game, I felt so bad for Monty. Love the way the movement feels, great polish!
Thanks for playing! Yeah Monty's had a rough time haha
owch! I need to find my limbs! It was a hard climb but I stuck through using sheer determination and a burning desire to unite our poor limbless protagonist with his legs again. the awesome dynamic music system also helped :O I'd love to see a polished up version of this :)
Thanks for playing!
Awesome entry, you can see all the effort put in it. Keep up the good work!
Thanks for playing!
I like the interpretation of the theme. The presentation and level design were both great. Everything was intuitive and the goal was always in sight. The mechanics felt a bit janky, though. I would frequently get stuck on edges, or get my jumps back from the side of a platform instead of its top.
Thanks for playing!
cool stuff! got a bit spooked because it didn't run at first, but it ran after i refreshed. it's fun! it's a shame you only get the grappling hook later on, but it's pretty janky so maybe it's for the best lol
Thanks for playing! Yeah I couldn't get the grapple working exactly how I wanted so I didn't want to much of the game to rely on it haha
Definitely the best game I've seen in the jam so far! Super impressive mechanics, teaches the player intuitively, fantastic style, and fits the theme fairly well! Outstanding work
Thank you for playing! :)
