I had a similar idea, but I ended up doing something different. It's nice seeing this realized!

Simple but very effective, it's polished, the art and sounds are good, solid entry :)

Very simple and fun game! I loved it! My favorite part is where if you didn't cut the item properly and you get a 100%-0%, the game will say, "What are you doing?!" And if you do manage to cut the item perfectly in half (for me, it was the cucumber), the game will give you a fanfare.

Thank you for playing! Glad you enjoyed it. I was very much aware of the different outcomes and wanted to make sure people got the right response for the right moments haha

Very fun! Had me competitive with a friend of mine.

Thank you! Did you win, though? :o

fun and simple

Aaha, maybe you should rename it "brother/sister" simulator 😅. I had a few issues with sensitivity. I've tried to cut the apple and it gave me a few times and empty pixel.

The game is quite meditative and it's easy to play. Good work.

Such simple but sp engaging idea. Loved it all the way through, especially when more asymmetric items started to pop up to make things interesting. Also - great idea to limit cut distance, so that it's impossible to vertically slice long objects, so you need to go harder but cooler way.

Simple to play but hard to master, Im almost half way there.

The game is easy to play without instructions, I loved the graphics and the way that you could draw a line in pixels in order to slice objects. Would've been better if there were more complex mechanisms but still a great game!

You know how to deliver on a concept in a simple yet satisfying way! Good work.

Satisfying gameplay with an idea executed really well. Great exploration of the idea as well.

So simple but fun and addicting!

Had a fun time, i feel like the slow animation for the size reveals could have been a little bit faster but was a enjoyable experience to play

Enjoyed it, was not expecting to learn the quality of my estimation skills. Not half bad ;)

I loved the simplicity and the execution of the idea! This might've worked better as a 3D game, since it seems the game works off of pixel count rather than perceived volume. But that was only a problem because the pixel art was so good that I kept thinking in 3D instead of just 2D area/pixel count. Fun game!

I was taken aback by how many food items there were, I made it through all of them, but got bored about halfway through.
I got one perfect cut early on and went :O felt so good.

Not being able to cut the pizza slice length wise and having to do it horizontally felt horrible haha.
It's a deceptive game, as you have to look at the silhouette more than the art.
And that art is very cohesive and cute - the music fits very well too!

Excellent job :)

i feel like you should take this idea and run with it. theres so much potential here and you've already done such an awesome job

Fun and frustratingly addictive puzzle game. I would rate it 50/50

Developer

The perfect rating, thank you so much for playing!

This game is sooooooo adcitive. I can't stop playing. I know I could plan ahead, but its way cooler to just tweak until the perfect cut is made
