Cute little game! Visuals are nice and solid, but I think food is a bit out of place, remaking it in pixel art would fit more. I like how you start super slow, and progress bar barely moves, but then you grow and move much faster, this adds a feeling that size matters. I found myself only taking "up" shells, maybe making terrain less passable with obstacles would make gameplay more diverse and would add importance to keeping size manageable. Overall - I enjoyed the game, thanks for making this and congrats on submission!
Simple and efficient. I enjoyed the slow progression of the game, and the visible change of scale. I was almost expecting a fight against the seagulls! :p The hide button could be indicated in game though (or maybe it is and I just didn't notice it).
I have ascended, I am now a KING CRABBO. I loved the sprites on that little guy. You could build this out into a full on stealth game if you wanted.
I AM THE BIG CRABBO
Really enjoyed that! Very nice art style and animations! Loved the soundtrack!
Very simple but yet pretty addictive! I really liked how the seagull attack was foreshadowed.
Cool game, i was a little lost at first since the camera was zoomed in a lot and it was a bit hard to get a bearing on where to go. The crab is veru cute. I had fun, good job!
Pixel art is really nice and i like that its a spin on Katamari.
Love the pixel art used for the crab! Would be nice if the rocks matched this art style, but understandable due to the time constraints. Had a good time with this.
Nice use of scale from smol to HUGE! Also really liked the seagull effect.
Lovely little game. Simple artstyle and gameplay, but fun nonetheless. I also needed a minute to figure out that the bar was a proximity bar, and not a progress bar regarding the number of shells to collected. The final king shell was a satisfying ending!
Great! I would recommend to make it clear what's the goal and why does some change from you can eat to you can't. Hope to see you in GMTK 2025!
