This is a great concept and as a citizen of Ukrane I feel personally related to it.
I think it would be better to add some extra details for events - to make the choices harder. Because for now many events in the game has definitely right choice (but maybe it's just for me?).
I hope you will continue to work, because it worth it.

Interesting social awareness game

While not my kind of game at all, I think this is what gamejams are about: exploring own and others ideas and sharing the results!

I do think this has some thought provoking potential, and might be a nice narrative game.

I think there was a bug in the interaction about university research projects, where one solution would not trigger the next event.

Other than that, solid result, and even if it might not be as diverse as you wished, the idea and direction really come through! :)

The idea is really good but you end up getting stuck in a loop after playing for a while. Otherwise, it's pretty interesting and surprisingly nerve-wracking despite having no time limits.

This certainly was interesting. It blurs the boarder between what could be considered a game and a personality quiz? Either way, it's a very interesting take on the theme. Good job.

Ahahaha, that's a great way to put it. I wonder if it'd give a different feel with more gamey elements. One thing I was trying to implement is ongoing status effects that alter gameplay, similar to passive upgrades in some deck builders. Some would be negative, like war and famine, but others would be positive and the player would be drafted a bunch of them at certain milestones. That way you'd be playing a choose-your-own-adventure in tandem with an engine builder of sorts.

Really interesting take on the theme, really creative! Awesome job!

Like others have said, I got stuck in a loop haha. The concept is still pretty good though!

The idea is great, but it definitely needs more content. I hope it will be further developed in the future. Congrats :D

This idea has legs! Would love to see it updated with more events. Not sure if it was intended to work on mobile but it seemed to do great

Love the concept ! I got stuck in a loop tho. I'dd suggest making the scale of our decisions more visible and important. Gave me some Trolley Problem vibes for inspiration. Good luck on expending !

Really interesting concept, would love to see it expanded further! I think I got stuck in a loop, so it felt a bit repetitive, but that's probably because I kept making goody two-shoe choices lol.

Ahaha. Thanks, Mira. The loop thing is my fault. I spent all my time building the engine and when I finally sat down and tried to put together some events, there was too little time left to create enough variance. I ended up adding a whole bunch of events resembling the Nazis' rise to power, but I locked most of them up behind higher militarism, so you'll have to try to jack that stat up to unlock a more interesting loop.

Ahhh I know the feeling haha - but hey, that means you've got something that can very easily be upscaled! I'll go play a nasty piece of work then, see how that changes my opinion on things :)

A good contemplative piece of media, makes you think about the scale of the individual within society wink wink

Intriguing Concept!
