How does your game fit the theme?
You are building your legacy to scale your kingdom.. (and you can resize the blocks with the resize tool to make more interesting structures)

I guess you shouldn’t press 10 times the button in a row :p It actually crashed later, going from 45 to 52. It would be much more enjoyable if building actually made sense, and the physics were better, here I just had to drop cube on enemies. Great idea nonetheless! Make sure to display the text longer too.
Impressive. I liked how the building pieces snapped onto one another.
Something just feels amazing repelling wave after wave of deadly crows trying to cause chaos.
Very fun despite (or perhaps because of?) all the jankiness! I'm not sure it is on purpose, but you can just spam the chaos button for the waves to spawn all together, so technically I went way past level 50 that way until my hp was out of service, or my computer died... Also, we can still put some structures while the waves are going on. So I would spam the waves to get lots of points and place a few blocks during the wave to keep protecting my king. Not sure how far I could have kept that up as once again my computer couldn't keep up with the amount of moving things on my screen. I see on the screenshots of your game that we could do pretty and organised structures, something I didn't consider doing, as I'm not sure what they could have brought of more efficient than my strategy, aside from perhaps isolating the 500 soul blocks.
For very minor details, the intro text explaining the lore and mechanics, flying a bit all around the screen and getting typed out made it hard for me to focus and understand much of it. Visually, it's simple but nice, just careful at readability, like the number of the wave being barely visible with the mountain background being white as well when zoomed out.
But there is potential for a polished and released game honestly. It has that angry birds kind of target audience. Something to whip out quickly on your phone or computer when you want to kill time and see some satsifying structures getting destroyed. Congrats to the team, especially knowing this is your first game!
Thank you for such a thought out piece of feedback Roy, we've learnt a hell of a lot through this jam and feedback like this is so valuable. I wish i'd had more time to really polish the building system, I love it being a bit janky but not so much that you can overlap blocks etc, but time caught up to us. Thank you again and good luck for your game too
Great game ! Title makes sense now haha i love the concept ! Keep up the good work :)
I think I won? uh the game crashed. Really enjoyed it though! Good job!
I enjoyed this one a lot! Managed to get to wave 48, then the game crashed.
I with there was a few more types of blocks to play around with
I (genuinely) love that my bad construction in the first level forced me to start building at a ridiculous slant, making the rest of my game way more chaotic. Really fun emergent gameplay in that way. Nicely done!
Very unique concept and fun gameplay mechanics, although I feel like the art style really stands out in here! As a pixel art enthusiast, I enjoyed the game just by looking at the trees lol :)
Intersting concept. I had a little difficult to understand at first, but had a lot of fun after learnt. If you could balance better and create more kind of enemies you will have a good casual game. I loved the style, remembered me something like Adventure Quest.
Haha crashed at the 30th era!
Great game! Lacks of variety, every wave feels the same, but I could not stop playing until the crash!
It's pretty easy to place the boxes in janky spots but great work overall. Fun tower defense game and from my experience playing and your screenshots you can make some intimidating structures.
The game is very fun once you figure out the controls. I was reading the stupid narrator's words at the beginning before i realized the controls are just in the description. After i found that, the game was much more fun. The wood block things are pretty much useless and i never ended up using the scale feature. There was a grid but it wasn't truly a grid so when items fell over or got scaled weirdly, it would just break that part of the world until that piece was destroyed (I'm on mac with a trackpad and i couldn't destroy buildings with right click)
Super cool idea, great gameplay and graphics, but needs some improvements in a 10-minute session I had 2 crashes
