How does your game fit the theme?
In line with the jam’s theme, “Built To Scale,” I aimed to create the tiniest survival game possible. I chose the world of microorganisms as my inspiration, and fittingly, the main enemy in this game is a cellular automaton that relentlessly chases you around the level. Here is a quick description of What is a Cellular Automaton is: A cellular automaton is a simple model used to simulate complex systems. Imagine a grid made up of cells, where each cell can be in one of several states (like on or off). The state of each cell changes over time according to a set of rules. In the case of my game the rules of each cell are determined by the position of the player. This creates an illusion of the automaton intelligently changing the player around.

Cool game!! Liked it alot!!
Streamed today!!
Wow very cool! I would not be surprised if you won, very original mechanics, and good design, the different upgrades really matter, and actually change things. Great job!
this rules. more games should use cellular automata
I would apprieciate a play & review of my game if you have the time.
Really good game! Enjoyed it a lot, altough i did not get any new green upgrade thing because i pushed mine out with my borders :/! 5/5 tho will play again!
Very polished, compact, and easy to understand. I would like to maybe bring up that build is a bit busted as it effectively allows you to make a semi circle or a quarter circle at the edges of the screen and camp out indefinitely with either ram of spinner.
Overall pretty fun.
Love this! Feels SUPER polished! Played a few times. Might be nice to have a little more in-game info about the various power-ups. Great job!
A lot of fun! I'm not usually a fan of survivors-likes but there were several things about this that I really liked, the one or two enemies at time made it feel exciting without be overwhelming and the upgrades where you can build walls is really cool and makes for some interesting strategies. I would even wonder about just having the build always on, maybe give a limit to the number of blocks out at one time? Regardless, it certainly add to the strategy and possibilities during the game! Good job! Keep at it!
Fun little endless survivor game. I think it would be cool if all of the upgrades could be upgraded more times or even times as you want instead of just build, but everything you DID have time to add seems incredibly well polished. Nice work!
I really like how the swarm works, how it chases you and tries to move around obstacles. Figting against it feels really satisfying. It can be pretty challenging for a few minutes. When you get most of the upgrades you're pretty much untouchable and it's kinda funny to watch the swarm struggle against your own swarm of walls and obstacles. Went into the game blind and the finger zoom in was unexpected and I liked it a lot. Great game!
Really fun, super polished game. Only negative would be that if you push the green upgrade thingy out of your reach (by pushing a "divide" block into it and causing it to fly off-screen) upgrades no longer spawn for the rest of the game. Aside from that little bug, amazing stuff!
I really love how organic the swarm looks and feels. The style and sound effects and graphics all work perfectly together. Really well polished and fun. Nice work!
The swarm was very impressive, and it felt cathartic to shear bits off it with all the different upgrades! The little particles and sfx put in a lot of work there. I would've loved to see more microorganism-based elements though - really go ham on the theme!
this game is so unique, love this game so much ,wish for more content to play
This is very impressive. I like the idea, and it is super polished. Well done :)
I wanted to go for a high score, but then I saw people reaching over level 100, which I could do, but it would simply take time, I quit at L50 and as other people pointed out "Divide" is OP and basically lets player reach any level they want :D
For feedback part - I really enjoyed the game. A very good execution of simple mechanics with a great technical twist (the swarm enemy). Wish there was more upgrades but I guess you didn't plan on having 50+ levels :P
The only thing that I would actually change would be the color of player character, at some point (even in regular gameplay without Divide exploit) it is very easy to lose track of player character as it has the same color as: cursor, explosions, rams etc., and to some extent the built walls. Some hue of blue might be good as it would contrast with everything, while green is already used for rewards.
Back to back great entries, both of which in totally different style. I'm a fan for sure Stepan :)
Wow this game is so cute and juicy and polished, everything has its little animation, its particles, destroying the goo is so satisfying... I also loved how there is practically no tutorial but I immediately understood what I had to do. Excellent work, will definitely play again!
The best introduction to any game in the jam that I've played by an absolute mile. So stylish! The amorphous blob was a little unnerving, and the way it moves was very organic.
I'd maybe have appreciated more enemy variety (different blobs with different abilities/speeds?) to mix up the gameplay a little bit, but I think you already went way above and beyond for a solo dev in 96 hours, given the level of polish on display here. Fantastic work!
Damn !
Really loved it ! (I admit I may have a bit exploited the walls, don't judge me !)
A really cool "survivor" game with a unique mechanic and an original theme, congrats ! (love the ennemy blob effect)
An original solution to turn a top-down shooter into an escape from a living blot))
The beginning about the finger is a real plot twist))
Good work! The only thing I didn't understand well is the mechanism of the appearance of red cubes-walls and how best to use them, during the action phase, mouse clicks, as I understand it, do nothing
Great job! You’ve done a lot in 96 hours, everything looks nice and polished. The game has good sound and good graphics (But sometimes I get confused in the simple white circles and lose the character). Also, everything is fine at first, but with the Ram+ upgrade and a small number of obstacle cells, I can stand in the center of them and quickly spin in place, thanks to which I can quickly kill enemies around me who cannot even come close to me, but still at one moment you can get lost and then the enemies will get to you. Great game and idea, I loved it! P.S. My record is 7 minutes 30 seconds. 29 Level. (The screenshot was not saved)
