While there were some issues with the game (jumping at the right moment while moving at the same time is hard, and the Slime with the heart eyes may not cooperate with you), I loved the aesthetics, the custom music, and sprites, and the game's story. Great job on your game!

I really loved the game! The Slime King is a charming character, and I liked his whole back story with the intro sequence. The level design was interesting and fun to figure out. The only point where I struggled was at the start of one of the levels after I had to go through the saw and the other slime got the crown. It took me a while to understand I could use the green circles to size up. Other than that, it was an enjoyable experience! The music was amazing too! :]

Neat idea! Love how slimes run after the crown as the important part and the idea of being able to use obstacles to shrink.

One thing I would change is the charge to jump mechanic which feels off for a platformer.

Enjoyed this a lot, it introduced new ideas at a brisk pace and the presentation was very good throughout. I thought the crown keeping its original size as the slime grew/shrunk was a nice detail, and served as a good point of reference for how big the slime was relative to it at any point.

Great game, fantastic art and really fun gameplay. All hail the slime king

Nice game, the jump mechanic was a bit annoying though.

really charming atmosphere with the music and art!  the cutscene was great too (also!! thank you SO MUCH for adding volume controls in the game i usually end up getting my ears blasted off during jam games lol).  the levels were pretty clever and i like how the saws are part of the puzzle instead of just being a hazard!

I thoroughly enjoyed it, the level design is very loose and goes well with the controls. Music was cute. Nice job!

the control are not super easy (espacially in a AZERTY keyboard) but the game really nice :

nice sfx and music! interesting level design, and a pretty creative idea!

Nice game, sound was really good and the chasing mechanic of the crown was adorable. The jump feel a bit floaty and some platform are at max jump height which are quite difficult to go on.

Solid game !

Glad I could make the art for the intro! We'll definitely collab more in the future :)

Really creative! The way you lose all your slime after being damaged reminds me of sonic

The game looks cute and plays well. The controls feel really intuitive. I did have to fight with the physics a bit at times, though!

Developer

thank you! i appreciate you taking the time to check out my game!

The idea is very unique, I loved how you have extended it further by having see-saws and the love smile following the crown to bring you back to life. Has good potential to become a full release if worked upon further. The physics can be improved a bit, sometimes the slime blobs got stuck in corners, the jumps seem very tight at places. Could have used a checkpoint in level 5 after growing in size.
Had fun, thanks for making it !

I immediately fell in love with the intro. Especially the music was great.
The jump was a bit finicky at times and I've definitely needed to restart levels a lot. But I think you've managed to put in an incredibly amount of mechanical depth for a jam game made in just a few days.

thank you so much! I really appreciate it!
