My scaler is as smooth as a crab shell, that cheap tool salesman will hear me! >:c
Besides the fact that I couldn't complete a single order, the game is pretty fun! No pressure (Exept from ungrateful customers that don't understand that my job takes time! Those tiktoks phones I tell you!), nice setting, calm music, it's a nice little experience.
Also, good play on words relating to the theme! I made a similar connection with scales in my game (but from a snake)
Great job! =)
Thank you so much for your comment! I love your comedy! I totally agree with you :D
Super cute. I like shouting FRESH FISH!
FRESH FISH! Nice art! the "scale" part was cool!
Thank you!
Was pleasantly surprised to find a scratch game here. The game is quite charming, and I love the pixel art.
Thank you!
Fun game, I thought I was original with my game idea ;). The scaling of the fish is a bit tricky to do in the time you get but other then that very cute game!
Love the art in this, especially the chopping board view. Very creative!
Thank you so much!!
Nice looking game! It was fun to play and also the right kind of stressful ;) I am not a good or thorough fish scaler yet, so I'll need to practise. :) Fun game!
Great play on "scale" with a nice, clean aesthetic. I am quite bad at it, but enjoyed regardless.
Thank you!
Surprised to see a Scratch game here (despite technically being TurboWarp). Nice interpretation of the theme, though it did take me a while to fully realize the controls.
Thank you!
Cool game! Sometimes it felt like the customers made it completely impossible to fully behead and descale the fish, but maybe I'm just bad idk. Still had fun though!
Game is chill ! would love to see a more management side where you grow your shop
Definitely!
Fun! Enjoyed the game! and such a good artstyle :)
The gameplay feels really good! Apparently I'm too bad to fully scale a fish though :(. Very well done!
It's alright, some customers less patient than others!
In 48 hours/??? crazy style, nice execution.
That's right! Thank you!
Controls made this game really difficult, especially on a trackpad. I tried my best but never successfully scaled a fish entirely. Also during rush hour i never even had time to go to the preparation stand because the customers were so impatient lmfao, I just had to take the fish and then give it to them. I really like the art style and the interpretation of the theme though! The game overall was really creative, great work!
Thank you so much for your feedback! If you were using a trackpad at first, I'm really sorry, I didn't think much of it.
Pretty cool idea. Maybe a bit off theme but still polished! Good Work!
Thank you, but . . . You kidding? A bit off theme? I have no idea what you're talking about!
controls were confusing. why do i use shift to pick up a fish, left click to pick up the cleaver, right click to angle the cleaver, and space to swing the cleaver? i feel like it could’ve just been left click to pick up and use everything
It was so that it felt more interactive!
Earned 250! (got 4 .5stars maximum tho)
Scratching scale was quite oddly satisfying.
Maybe adding in-game tooltip for controls (e.g. [Space] Icon on knife) would be nice?
Nice! Thank you for your feedback, I totally agree!
Simple, but fun! The descaling of the fish felt not super responsive, but that may just be me! And the vibes are amazing :)
Thank you so much! Also: the scaling is not the most responsive because of two things:
1. Scratch's framerate: 30
2. Me; I made it so you have to be a little more careful when scaling. The faster you go, the more you miss.
Such a wonderful vibe! I think it was a really cool idea for a game, I just happen to be REALLY bad at scaling fish xD still quite fun. I'll suggest thou, maybe making the character a tad faster could work well with the time of game.
Also loved your interpretation of the theme! Clever!
Thank you so much! And- you're right, but only a tad faster, as the speed adds to pressure!
Yes I agree! The speed of it is part of the pressure to fulfil demands, thats why id say only making it a slight bit faster. That way the pressure is still there, but also the player feel more in control of the characte
