Very fun game! I wasn't able to get more abilities besides the blue gem thing. Were there instructions anywhere?

Abilities are a random drop from enemies so you need to kill them.

And every 3rd stage you can select a better ability (just need to survive long enough)

First of all, thank you for making a survivor game where I didn't have to click!
The sheep was really cute as well; I liked it!
There are some things to improve; I'm sure you already know most of them.
The hitboxes felt a little weird. The ability system was a little unintuitive. I also found the ability system a bit overwhelming once I started to have so many of them. The dodge felt unimpactful; maybe it needs more i-frames. A lot of the math was messed up, and you can break the restart mechanic.
These are probably all just symptoms of crunch during a jam, though; I think it's a great start to a fun little survivor game.

Ability system/UI definitely needs some love.
Dodge! - very good topic! I am thinking about adding some upgrades to dodge itself (something like Hades)

Please do not break restart mechanic! That is cheating :D

Art style was nice! I wish I was able to click to attack instead of it doing it for me, it made me less involved mechanically with the game.

Auto Aim/Shoot is part of the genre and more important thing is that my girlfriend has problems coordinating mouse and keyboard so that feature is for her :P

I suck at these type of games so sorry for not being able to experience much of the game but what I did experience was really great. The art and music are fantastic and I loved that there are so many different enemies.

It's not that you suck!
It's that we did not have much time to balance things out!
We are working on improvements so maybe after the post jam patch you can enjoy it a little more :D

Surprising amount of enemy and ability variety and the game is also quite challenging. However (this may be because I suck at the game). I don't feel like stopping to attack pairs well with enemies that keep putting pressure on you. Since the levels automatically ends anyway, as of right now it's probably more worthwhile to just keep running away than to fight back. Probably just an issue with balancing or I suck really bad at the game.

Oh yeah, the art is also amazing!

Very good point! Gotta think about how to balance that out.
For now there are 2 differences:
1. When you shoot enemies, there are less of them trying to get you
2. You get upgrades only from killed enemies, you wont get them when the level ends

The game is really fun and addictive! The visuals and sounds feel very polished. I also think that “stand to shoot” (although frustrating at first) is a good fit for the bullet hell gameplay.

I don’t really understand the upgrade system. You get a ton of different options, but only a limited number of slots which means that after some time you won’t be scaling as much. And the row of selected upgrades also keeps randomly changing sometimes. And when you die, I think you just restart at the same place with all your upgrades. Kinda confused about that as well.

Nevertheless, I think this game has a lot of potential. Great job!

Active ability slots are broken saddly, they do expand when you level up or when you add an +Extra slots upgrade but only 10 of then will be shown on screen :(

And yeah, restart button does not work properly :(

The game is solid and complete, and the variety of upgrades is fun to experiment with. I like the fact that the games also include a bit of bullet hell experience.

We definitely need to balance the upgrades so orbs and auras are also a viable strategy but I am glade you liked the variety!

I thought I was strong, things were looking easy, and then big daddy sheep humbled me real quick HAHHAHAA. Everything about this game, from the art to the sfx and vfx came together so well!

The art style, music, and sfx is really making the gameplay feel really great. The mechanics and idea is really great because it just fits the theme really well. The sheep main character makes it even better. This was addictive and amazing, great work!

I like shooters, and this one is a good one but with sheep! I like the part that you have to plan your abilities and don't have to press the shoot key. Very addictive and fun! Congrats guys!
