Very Cute Game and Animations!

Submitted

I would've liked to see some other mechanic besides just avoiding the walls, but I like the cartoon-y artwork, and the visuals, animations, and effects are all really good.

Amazing artwork and interesting gameplay, reminds me of an old game. I had an issue that stopped me from progressing past a certain point, but regardless of that I enjoyed what I did play.

I feel like I've played a game like this back in the days... Nicely done!

Bonus point was that it reminded me of one of my all-time favourite books; The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy. Good stuff.

Fun little game! I may have missed it, but it took me to level 3 to understand that the pick up hitbox is not the same as the hurtbox (planets) which I think could have been explained better. Still fun! Love the sun in the middle of the player character

The Art style and sounds are great. The UI after finishing the level is on point.
I feel like i was playing a retro kirby game because of the artstyle.  Job well done <3

Nice idea! I also had some errors close to the 5th level, and I never got credit for the secrets found :(. Still an enjoyable game, congratulation for making it!

Colorful, and the end level screen reminds me a lot of Yoshi's Island (the first one)
Tho, at around the 5th or 4th (?) level(I'm bad at counting) it throws an error and stops the level transition. Don't know why, but worth a look(?)

But overall, GG

nice work!

Nice game. Would benefit from giving it more variation as i felt the levels were not too different from one another and made it lose interest over time, but overall very nice :D extra props on the art, good job :D

Very nice art style and overall a very polished look.  The gameplay was a little hard to understand at first but was quite fun afterwards. Very nice game with good art. Keep up the good work!

The feedback on picking up the little objects was satisfying! I could see some improvement on the movement system, maybe just make it faster or maybe with some gravity effects, etc! The style and visuals were a vibe. :)

Love the level complete screen, really interesting art style. Nice work!

Thank you very much! Any tips for the gameplay? I rly want to make it more fun.

Hmmmm, personally I'd try adding a touch of slide to the character to make it feel a bit more natural (So when you let go of the controls, it carries on going for a bit).

Thank you for your wisdom, whitehatcat

The idea of having to wait until your moons rotate to squeeze around obstacles is cool, however I don't think that's clear from the start. I think that maybe focusing the game on quality rather quantity would be good. I played the first few levels and they felt a bit disconnected from that gameplay idea. The graphics and music are gold tho! Incredible art!

Developer

Yes you absolutely right and i thank you for that. I just run out of ideas, any tip? And thank you very much for the feedback.

I really liked the music, what bothered me though was that your hit radius is bigger tan your "grab items" radius, just felt weird to me!

Developer

Thank you very much for your honest feedback! We gonna work on that for sure.

Game has numerous issues, many buttons are mislabeled such as "level select" actually just restarting the level, and the settings weren't accessible.

The game is one of those avoid hitting the edges type games but doesn't have any major challenge, you're supposed to go around all the playspace and just pick up all the collectables I assume, but even on stages I did this I got 0-1 stars.

Sometimes if you hit the edge you lose all control and just bounce around till you die, I don't see any way out of that state.

Developer(+1)

Thank you very much for your feedback. To get more than 1 star you also have to avoid hit the edges. Is there anything you think we can do to make the game more fun?

I feel like it isn't made super clear about losing stars, some UI showing that would be nice.

Mostly fixing all the bugs would be helpful, also making things more consistent. The bubble things seem to be collected by any part of the orbit, but rings need to hit the center.

Developer

Got it! thank you!

I tried to play your game also but could not find wich one is the jam one.
