This games really good! Unlike other gravity based ones this gives you a lot of chance to correct your mistakes. I also really like that you added options to skip levels, not many of the entries have it including mine and its super helpful. When I came across the level with tons of asteroids I got spooked thinking I wouldn't be able to do it, but I managed to and it was really fun dodging them and using the sun to take some of them out, then build up speed and thread it towards the exit.

If we were to do a proper version of this game, we'd likely remove the skip level, but for a game jam we just wanted to show people as much as possible! Thanks a lot for the feedback!

Super cool execution, the cinematic camera angles are really cool!

Developer(+1)

Thanks so much, the camera angle was a bit of an argument during development, Seth says he's glad he lost!

It might be disorienting at times but it adds a lot, at least in my taste

Very cool game!

Using the gravity of the stars is really cool idea was really fun to play ^^

Developer

Thanks a lot for the feedback!

I like the gameplay with the challenging levels and various camera angles!

Developer(+1)

Thanks very much!

Nice idea, I kinda dislike the camera forcing itself to follow the asteroid when its near the black hole, I'd rather just be able to play it in top down  view all the time. The top down view also has a really nice look.
Besides that its interesting to play, it has a pretty good level of challenge to make it enjoyable.

Developer

Thanks so much, we ran out of time in the polishing, if we had more time we would likely add a toggle to turn this off.

Very nice game!
I got a lot of fun while crashing into the sun and planets :D An oddly soothing experience, I must say...

I wish that maybe the controls were a bit more intuitive — sometimes it was a bit tricky to follow. And maybe a little bit more controls of the camera — sometimes I got lost while the camera angles changed :)

Developer(+1)

We hear you on the controls, we ran out of time to tune. Classic error of budgeting too much for development of features and not enough to actually make a game! Thanks for the feedback!

Hahah, totally feel you there!

Cool space game, some levels are pretty challenging :D The choir slowly getting louder and louder, and then quieter and quieter when you barely missed the goal is hilarious. The 3rd person camera looks cool but i think for solving the levels i mostly used the top down view, would be cool if i could always be in the top view even at the beginning of the level.

Developer

Thanks so much for the feedback, it's becoming very apparent we did not leave enough time for polishing haha

Nice game! Realy nice visuals and fun concept, a little hard to aim but enoyable when you manage!

Developer

We were considering whether actual real physics would be the most fun, likely modifying the maths would result in a better game. Thanks a lot!

Submitted

Familiar concept but the camera angles are neat!

Developer

Thanks a lot for the feedback, glad you enjoyed the cameras!

Looks like you two attract each other

Very very creative game, also love the glowing both in the planets and in the text, the style is definitely cohesive. Please do check out our game too!

Developer(+1)

Thanks so much!

Submitted(+1)

Wow so beautiful and creative. I loved the game so much! Great job!

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much!

Submitted(+1)

Love the visual effects though the glow was a bit strong

Developer(+2)

Yeah we meant to tune it but then ran out of time, so it's at whatever arbitrary value we set during dev. Thanks!

Either way congrats on the game!

Grrreat idea! Really easy to understand how it works and plan your next moves, well done!
Would love to see a full game out of this.

Only thing: controls could be improved!

Very cool idea :3 though the camera switching made things a little tricky >.< But I enjoyed it, good job! ^^

Developer(+1)

I'm sure there is a way that the camera becomes cool and not intrusive, maybe we didn't manage it this time. Thanks for the feedback!

Submitted(+1)

a very clever look, but controls and camera getting it hurd to undestand. Anyway, the effect on the grid looks awesome, well done!

Developer(+1)

We have a shader wizard who did that, thanks so much!

Submitted(+1)

I love the idea. I got a little lost in the controls, but I like the top-down perspective where you see the distortion of space. Great work.

Developer(+1)

Thanks so much!

Love the game idea there. Keeps me engaged in some later levels!

Btw the atmosphere is epic.

Thanks so much!

controlls are quite jank, but cool idea

Developer(+1)

You are not the only person to say this, probably we need a big revamp on them. Thanks for the feedback!

Cool lighting, good job!

Developer

Thanks a lot!
